The danger of the approval of the Rome Statute
The approval of the Rome Statute would lead to the persecution of Christians, pose a threat to the family and gradually pave the way for the legalization of various forms of sexual perversion. Legalization of same-sex marriages, adoption of children by homosexuals and perverse sexual “education” of children are nowadays regarded as European standards and priorities of the EU and U.S. policies. Protection of sexual perversion and unjust and unwarranted special privileges for LGBT people have become the subject of various resolutions of international organizations. This policy destroys the family and poses a great danger to a state built on Christian moral principles. It will lead to a drastic persecution of parents and Christians, and will also be the cause of autogenocide and rapid extinction of the nation.
The signing of the Rome Statute would mean subordination of Ukraine to the International Criminal Court. It would mean that Christians, when judged by the new international standards, would be treated as homophobes, i.e. people who allegedly discriminate against and persecute LGBT persons. Resolutions 1728 and 1948 of the Council of Europe, Resolutions A3-0028/94 from 1994 and P7_TA(2011)0427 from 28 September 2011 of the European Union, and Resolution A/HRC/17/19 of the UN Human Rights Council clearly suggest that a natural aversion to sexual perversion as well as protection of children against homosexuality are treated by these international organizations as a discriminatory attitude towards LGBT people. According to these standards, every normal person is a homophobe. In case the Rome Statute is adopted, any of the Christian Churches may be brought before a court. It will be accused of fabricated crimes against humanity under Article 7 of the Rome Statute only because it protects the family, moral values and Christian faith which is strongly opposed to gender ideology and condemns homosexuality as a sin and an abomination.
The UN, EU and Council of Europe unjustifiably consider the rejection of same-sex couples, gay adoption of children and a ban on gay propaganda among children to be oppression of and discrimination against LGBT persons. The paradox is that international organizations are silent on paedophile crimes committed by same-sex couples. They are silent on psychological traumatization of children through perverse sexual education in schools. They are silent on the efforts of numerous non-governmental organizations to prevent parents from providing a sound upbringing for their children. Some countries force children to get familiar with homosexuality and even to try it. They are silent on the fact that children stolen by juvenile justice workers are given up to same-sex couples and sexually abused. Today we observe that the more privileges are given to LGBT persons, the more rights are denied to parents and children.
