Orthopraxy versus Amazonia - Part 3

The early 1960s witnessed the beginning of an invasion of neopaganism and neomodernism. Nevertheless, Vatican II rejected repentance as well as the Spirit of truth and opened the Church to the spirit of the world through aggiornamento. The post-conciliar spirit, as a result, warned neither against the invasion of pagan Hinduism and yoga nor against amorality. Without the Council, the Amazon Synod would never take place. The Synod will result in a total transition to the neopagan Church of the Antichrist, the anti-Church of the New Age.

The First Commandment of the Decalogue forbids paganism and its practices.

Question: What does the First Commandment say?

Answer: The First Commandment says, “I am the Lord your God… You shall have no other gods but Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol of any kind… You shall not bow down to them nor serve them… For I visit the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the fourth generation.” (Deut 5:6ff)

Question: What is the essence of the First Commandment?

Answer: It is above all about a personal relationship. God created you and gave His Son for you. What does He want from you? “You shall not go after other gods, the gods (demons) of the peoples who are all around you.”(Deut 6:4-14) This relationship of love to God is associated with blessing and its transgression with the most severe punishments.

Question: What about the history of the chosen people in relation to the First Commandment?

Answer: When the nation inclined to pagan idolatry which has its strength in magic and divination (see Deut 18:9-14), the consequence was wars, diseases, the Babylonian captivity… All the kings of Judah and Israel are judged by one criterion – whether they were idolaters or worshippers of the Lord (see 2 Chr 33:6).

Question: Did the same commandment continue in the New Testament in relation to paganism and the occult?

Answer: Yes. It was not enough that people believed in Christ but they had to break with the spirit of paganism.

Although the diviner at Philippi blew the trumpet for the preachers of the Gospel, the Apostle Paul cast the spirit of divination out of her. The reaction was that Paul and Silas were beaten with rods and thrown into prison.

In the encounter with the sorcerer in Cyprus (cf. Acts 13:1-12), Paul, full of the Holy Spirit, said: “You son of the devil, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? … You shall be blind!” (Acts 13:10-11)

In Ephesus, where the Apostle preached Christ, people who were converted burned occult books to the amount of fifty thousand pieces of silver (cf. Acts 19:18-20). Christians should cleanse their homes not only of occult books but also of occult symbols and objects.

At the present time, there are almost 12 million ‘practitioners of magic’ in Italy alone. This fact points to existential disorientation.

Modern people are unable to discern, and they say: “The main thing is that it helps!” But the question is how long and, most importantly, at what cost. For the sins of idolatry you and your children will be afflicted with diseases, misfortunes and suffering to the fourth generation (cf. Exo 20:5). And most importantly – how will it all end? “…idolaters and those who practise magic shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire…” (Rev 21:8)

Question: What is the attitude of the Bible and scientific medicine towards homoeopathic remedies?

Answer: In fact, it is magic in disguise. From the standpoint of scientific medicine, homoeopathy is unambiguously rejected as a system based on irrational principles. Former President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prof. Dr R. Zahradník and 12 Professors of Charles University characterize homoeopathy as follows: It is a realm of irrationality, fiction and superstition.

Question: Are homoeopathic remedies harmless?

Answer: Kent Tyler, a prominent ideologist of homoeopathy, admits: “All homoeopathic remedies affect first of all the will and consciousness. Aurum perverts the affections natural to healthy man. One of the fundamental loves is the love of living. The effects of Aurum are so strong that it perverts this love and as a result man longs to die and seeks methods to commit suicide. Argentum disturbs the ability to think to such a great extent that man becomes irrational. His memory is in ruins. It is the same with every homoeopathic substance. First it affects the human mind and then proceeds to the whole organism!”

Let us point out: These are quotes from a prominent ideologist of homoeopathy!

Question: What is the essence of homoeopathy and what is it based on?

Answer: The essence is magic and divination.

Question: What about the Silva method?

Answer: It is based on autosuggestion in a state of “relaxation” at the so-called alpha level. Silva believes the world to be governed by “Higher Intelligence”, which is not the same as the Christian God. According to Silva, one can communicate with this “Higher Intelligence” in the “alpha” state. With whom does the initiate in the Silva method get in contact at the so-called “alpha” level if not with God but with other “Higher Intelligence”? The answer is not difficult for a Christian: “With the devil who transforms himself into an angel of light.” (cf. 2Cor 11:14)

Question: What is reiki?

Answer: Reiki is primarily a magic and spiritualistic ritual where one opens oneself up to the so-called “help” of demons. The situation is analogous to that in transcendental meditation, where the source of strength and the condition for all occult activities is an initial act of idolatry and calling upon the spirits (demons) for so-called help

Question: Is acupuncture scientific medicine and is it spiritually harmless?

Answer: Acupuncture is a key component of occult traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is connected with the pagan spirit Tao or Chi. It comes from the yin and yang theory which is incompatible with Christianity!

Acupuncture is based on a philosophy encompassing astrology, pantheism and hypnosis, and is rooted in Buddhism! In 2012, a Swiss physician infected 11 patients with the deadly HIV virus using acupuncture needles.

As for so-called acupuncture points, no one has ever proved that they exist. Acupuncturists therefore wonder where they are and whether they are on the surface or somewhere deep. They themselves are not clear about why?, when? and where? to insert the needles.

Therefore, acupuncture must be categorically rejected from the medical as well as Christian point of view!Acupressure and Chinese point massage have the same basis and a similar goal.

Question: What is the attitude of God’s Word towards hypnosis?

Answer: Hypnosis is a method based on suggestion, which inevitably means that one person is subjected by another. Such a state causes mental injury and sometimes can even cause mental disturbance. When it comes to performing hypnosis in connection with occultism and parapsychology, the consequences in such cases are terrible and the devil’s power enormous. This pseudo science lays the foundation for spiritualism – for the invocation of spirits…

Question: What is the attitude of God’s Word towards animal magnetism or mesmerism?

Answer: The magnetizer opens up to demonic forces. If an ‘unwelcome guest’ resides in him, he transmits him to the patient too. The magnetizer and the magnetized person fall into a state of fusion. The patients feel new negative effects: headache, insomnia, mental disorders. The same symptoms appear after consulting a healer, hypnotist, fortune-teller and the like.

The attitude of science: Biomagnetism is a misuse of the term. It disguises a magic practice with alleged science!

The attitude of the Church is always negative just like towards every form of magic, divination and spiritualism!

Question: What about contemporary psychology?

Answer: Jung was a disciple of Freud. In 1912, being on the verge of a mental breakdown, he “acquired” a spirit guide named “Philemon”. This spirit guide (demon) “helped” him reveal things which confirmed his dubious hypotheses about the “collective unconscious” and “archetypes”.

We can see that the very root of modern psychology is poisoned and rotten. Whole contemporary psychology is literally saturated with the occult and with false mysticism, especially that of the Orient. Rogers, the founder of humanistic psychology, does not conceal his participation in spiritualist séances. Jean Houston openly declares herself a supporter of the antichristian New Age movement.

Question: What about rhabdomancy?

Answer: Doctor Petr Řepa, former Chairman of the Union of Czech mathematicians and physicists, writes: “The existence of what dowsers and their adherents call geopathogenic zones, dragon veins, Hartmann lines etc. has never been proved and is ranked among superstitions…” From the standpoint of the Bible, it is a form of divination. The dowsing rod gives answers even about future or hidden things.

Question: What were the punishments for pagan practices, divination, magic or spiritualism?

Answer: Rule 65 of St Basil the Great reads: “In the case of witchcraft one shall fulfil a term of penance appointed for murderers.”

Rule 72 of St Basil the Great: “If anyone sought help from sorcerers or occult healers, let him likewise do penance appointed for a murderer.”

Question: How to do penance?

Answer: Every Christian must break not only with the spirit of paganism but also with the practices of divination, magic and spiritualism and all superstitions. Christians cannot live their life by horoscopes or signs of the zodiac, nor consult fortune-tellers or occult healers.

Jesus warns: “Unless you repent, you will all perish!” (Lk 13:3)
