The official website of the Belarusian Catholic Church has posted a defamatory article about the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP). It is a response to the BCP’s articles and videos which rightly convict Archbp Kondrusiewicz of organizing a coup d’etat. The archbishopric uses a method of totalitarian systems which fight against the truth by wickedly defaming its preachers. The leadership of the Catholic Church does not respond at all to the weighty arguments that convict Archbp Kondrusiewicz of initiating the Maidan, although his name was included on a list of subversive agents, for which reason he was not allowed into Belarus.

The defamatory article about the BCP is a pack of lies. The leadership of the Catholic Church openly denigrates Patriarch Elijah, alleging that he collaborated with the KGB when he served as a diocesan priest during Communism. The lies are presented powerfully with the indication of the number from the invalid so-called Cibulka’s lists which included the names of all priests in the Czech Republic without exception at the time. Therefore, the Lustration Department of the Czech Interior Ministry released an official document confirming that Patriarch Elijah (Fr Antonín Dohnal) had never collaborated with the KGB (http://vkpatriarhat.org/en/?p=18936). The Catholic hierarchy in Belarus thus commits a gross libel. It would probably be necessary for the Interior Ministry of Belarus, Lithuania and Russia to release an official statement concerning Archbp Kondrusiewicz – whether or not he collaborated with the KGB.

These days, Patriarch Kirill Gundyayev has appointed a new Metropolitan, Benjamin, to be the head of the Orthodox Church in Belarus. It would be appropriate for the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation to also check whether Kirill (Vladimir Gundyayev) did not collaborate with the KGB.

As for falsely branding the BCP a “sect”, this term refers to those who have separated – cut off – from the orthodox teachings of the Church. The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP) has never separated from the orthodox teachings. On the contrary, the BCP defends the orthodox doctrine of the Catholic Church against contemporary heresies.

If Bergoglio (Francis) remains an unrepentant idolater and heretic and occupies the highest office of the Church, the BCP cannot submit to him, and therefore cannot even mention his name in the liturgy. In fact, every orthodox bishop and every priest is obliged to act accordingly.

We are witnessing an unprecedented phenomenon in the history of the Church: the current leadership of the Church is in the hands of a sect of heretics and apostates which is also connected to the homosexual network at these highest places in the Vatican. This sect dominates the Church and abuses obedience and the highest authority associated with the papacy for the self-destruction of the Church, and today also for the so-called reduction of nations (see the latest Vatican documents on vaccination).

We ask: Which of the Belarusian bishops and priests belong to this Vatican sect? Apparently, this very serious problem would need to be addressed by the Vatican delegate, who is staying in Belarus from 11 to 14 September 2020.

The BCP is headed by Patriarch Elijah with two Secretary Bishops, +Timothy and +Methodius. The BCP arose from the need to defend the fundamental Christian truths against heresies and apostasy. It does not recognize pseudo Pope Bergoglio and is not subordinate to him.
