New year’s pastoral letter to the faithful

 

 

Dear faithful,

by this pastoral letter we turn to You in a very serious matter which concerns each of You personally, but also Your children, grandchildren and the next generations. It concerns Your public confession of apostolic and Catholic faith which leads to salvation. This is at the same time connected with Your public renouncement of the heresies of Card. L. Husar which lead to apostasy from Jesus Christ and from the Church and finally to eternal damnation. Card. L. Husar:

1)      casts doubt upon the Divinity of Jesus Christ

2)      casts doubt upon the Virginity of the Mother of God

3)      casts doubt upon the eternity of hell

4)      propagates occultism

5)      divines by pendulum

6)      approves of homosexuality

7)      casts doubt upon the primacy of the Pope

8)      propagates reincarnation

 

If Head of the Church says in his book that in the end demons will be released from hell, it means that according to him hell will not exist, and, consequently, heaven will not exist either. What then is the point of moral and religious life? The consequence of heresies is that Card. Husar approves of divination and homosexuality.

 

One reads in the Holy Scripture that the harshest punishments were inflicted for occultism, i.e. for divination and magic. These punishments fall upon families to the third and fourth generation. Nevertheless, Card. Husar divines by pendulum and overtly writes about it in his book. This bad example of his helped the legalization of the “services” of diviners (2008) who draw down a curse upon the whole nation. However, everyone who will renounce the heresies will thus save not only oneself but also one’s offspring from the curse and evil spirits.

 

Even all the priests of the UGCC are facing the decision to renounce the heresies. Now if they renounce the above-mentioned heresies publicly, the official hierarchy, in spite of being already unlawful before God, will punish them. In order that we may defend orthodoxy of our UGCC, a new, orthodox Bishops’ Synod has been established. There has been a mendacious campaign launched against us in religious journals and through false pastoral letters which the priests are compelled to read in their churches.

 

We, orthodox Catholic bishops, have been called by God in this time to be the living conscience of the Church and to unflinchingly call a sin a sin, the truth the truth and a lie a lie. We are willing even to lay down our lives for the sake of Christ and His Gospel. bUT we cannot make in Your behalf the act of decision which like a small grain on the scales is to mediate Your salvation. Today God is seeking with hope ten righteous to put into their hands the destiny of the nation.

 

Dear brothers and sisters, we, Your orthodox shepherds, hereby bring to Your notice that Your priests are powerless without You and cannot offer resistance to the heretical structure which is gradually causing liquidation and spiritual death.

Therefore we remind You that it is necessary for You to be aware how important part Your decision plays regarding the present-day UGCC – whether she will be cunningly liquidated through heresies, or will see her spiritual awakening and resurrection which will affect the whole Ukrainian nation as well as the whole Western Church.

 

On the one hand Your priest is dependent on the heretical bishop; however, he is mainly dependent on You. The church is not the property of the eparchy but of the parish which is represented by the so-called “committee of twenty” (parish committee comprised of 20 people). This “committee of twenty” is You or a member of Your family or Your friend. You can influence him as in Your so in his own interest, so that Your “twenty” may publicly profess the true faith and publicly renounce the heresies of Card. Husar.

 

As for Your local priest, there are the following possibilities:

1)    If the priest is sincere, he will gladly accept this moral support and then he can stand against the heresies without fear even publicly and publicly profess the faith.

2)    If the priest is weak and is guided by the pressures of those who proclaim heresies, then the pressure of the true-Catholic “twenty” and of conscious believers will obstruct the pressure of heresy and give him the liberty to profess the true faith and to renounce unity with the heresies of Card. Husar.

3)    If the priest is innerly obdurate in heresies, relentlessly upholds them and fights against the true-Catholic faithful, then it is necessary to tell this priest to leave the parish and the orthodox Synod will send Your parish a true-Catholic priest.

 

The priests are under the pressure of false obedience to the heretical structure which prohibits them from professing the true Catholic faith and from renouncing the heresies. Unfortunately, there are even such priests who have already united with the spirit of heresies to such an extent that they are no longer able to repent.

 

Through their heroic profession of faith the believers must create the opposite pressure of true obedience to God and to the Holy Father. They can make use of an effective method. This method was demonstrated as a model by our adversaries in the village of Zavodske; however, now it has become topical in the fight for the defence of orthodoxy.

 

Representatives of the heretical structure instigated a rebellion of several people from the village of Zavodske, who were in opposition to the orthodox parish administrator and to the so-called “twenty”. They demonstratively and forcibly demanded that every Sunday there should be a separate Divine Liturgy celebrated for them in the local church by a heretical priest. This resulted in a painful split of the parish.

 

The heretical structure is cynical; it occupies its offices illegally. But the believers want to be eternally saved! The adherents of the heretical structure, however, deceive them, keep them in darkness and cunningly and covertly lead them through heresies into perdition.

So if there is at least a small group of conscious believers in the parish who have at heart salvation of their souls, of the souls of their children and grandchildren as well as of the whole UGCC, let them be united and ask the orthodox Catholic Synod to send them a priest. We will consecrate an orthodox Catholic priest for them and then they can rightfully and persistently claim their right, that in the local church there should also be a Divine Liturgy for the orthodox Catholic faithful celebrated! Otherwise it will be necessary to go to underground, which will be harder than in the time of the Communist regime.

 

Some priests use threats and terror against the orthodox faithful: they refuse to confess them, they refuse to administer to them Holy Communion, they threaten them with hell, though in compliance with L. Husar’s teaching they do not believe in hell any more, they threaten that they will not bury the orthodox believers, they shout at them, consider them apostates and tyrannize them by false smears.

Therefore it is necessary to take adequate measures: They exert pressure in order to keep the believers in darkness and heresy, in order not to enable them to be converted and to separate themselves from heresies and from the system leading to hell – we have to exert pressure as well. This, however, requires heroism and bloodless martyrdom of everyone who will openly stand against this system of lie, intrigues and spirit of death which is unlawfully hiding behind the divine and Church authority.

 

Without this painful operation the spiritual resurrection and renewal of the UGCC cannot come! There is a need of brave men and women who will not let themselves be threatened with mockery, half-truths, lies or physical violence (e.g. broken arm of Mrs Mary X in Stryi).

This is a fight for purification of the Church from heresy and this fight requires real martyrs – either physical or spiritual ones. God wants it! One cannot give in here! It is necessary to fight systematically, wisely and many times even covertly against this spirit of death which has incorporated into the UGCC through the heresies of Card. L. Husar and the Bishops’ Synod united with him.

 

Therefore we, the orthodox Catholic Synod united with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as well as with His vicar on earth – Holy Father, call upon You to profess the true faith, to separate from the heresies and in Your parish and in Your church to gain place for the living Jesus and His true teaching! Do not be afraid! Be brave, this is a fight for Your eternal salvation, this is a fight for salvation and spiritual resurrection of the territory where You live as well as of the whole nation! God will work through Your heroic faith! The reward which awaits You will fill You with joy for all eternity. Without fight there is no victory! It is now to You that God’s Word says: “The battle is not yours but God’s.” (2Chron 20:15)

 

However, there is still another solution: If the heretical bishops were willing to give the Holy Father such opportunity, he could resolve the whole situation peacefully in the presence of both their and our representatives. Yet because they do not want to renounce heresies and the spirit of apostasy, they are avoiding this solution!!!

 

St. Basil the Great, who fought for the true faith against heresies, writes:

“A Christian must not forsake Christ’s martyrs and follow heretical bishops, for these are alien to God. Let those be accursed too who go over to them.” (Canons of the Eastern Churches, can. 37)

“The Lord is at hand. We run away from the heretics as from godless people, inflicting an anathema upon them. Avoid their meetings for which they gather to meanly deceive the listeners! Flee from them therefore, that you may preserve spotless love for us and unimpaired faith of the Fathers.”

 

“Venerable brothers, we are facing the fury of persecution here, and that, one of the fiercest. The most severe punishment is imposed for one crime only: faithfulness to the heritage of the Fathers.”

“The present situation is harder and more sorrowful and calls for more attention. We mourn over the souls falling day after day under the sway of the defenders of heresy... You will soon not be able to find people to whom You could lend a helping hand, for they will all be under the rule of heresy.”

 

“Do not let yourselves be misled by their lie when they declare their loyalty to the faith, for such men traffic in Christ and are no Christians. They always choose what is advantageous to them in this life, and not a life consonant with the truth. ...they pretend that they are orthodox. I do not regard as a bishop or a clergyman the one who received the title from such shameful hands with the intention of destroying the faith...”

 

St. Basil the Great says to the heretical ruler: “Fire, sword, beasts of prey, tongs tearing human body fill us with sweetness rather than with fear. So you are perfectly free to offend us, threaten us and do whatever you like. You will not make us yield to heresy, no matter how dreadful threats you use.”

By this pastoral letter we have charged You with responsibility not only before God but also before the whole Church and before the future generations! Be brave; eternity is at stake – the eternal salvation of You and Your families.

 

If in this spiritual fight some priest refuses to administer to You Holy Communion, receive it spiritually, and if he refuses to give You absolution, we or the priests who are in unity with us will give it to You.

Likewise, do not be afraid of threats or swearwords used by those who maintain this spirit and structure of death! Their threats that they will not bury You are ridiculous. What is important is that You should die as those who remained faithful to Christ and to His Church and not as traitors! Eternal life is at stake! Heretics will be buried in hell, whether they are priests, religious or bishops. Concerning burial – if heretics refuse to bury You, our orthodox Catholic priests will do so! Do not be afraid of anything. Be afraid just of one thing – lest You should be eternally condemned owing to unity with heresies!

 

Be brave, the Mother of God will protect You with her protecting veil.

Your first step to salvation is profession of the true faith and renouncement of eight heresies listed on the attached sheet (petition). These sheets will be sent to the Holy Father Benedict XVI. Be missionaries! Let as many people as possible profess the faith through the petition!
