On Thursday 17th December 2008 there was a criminal assault on the parish house in the village of Zavodske of the Busk district, plotted under the leadership of
the Sokal-Zhovkva eparchy. The village falls within the administration of the orthodox bishop of the new UGCC Synod, Bishop Teodozij Vasyl Ivashkiv OSBM. In the
morning the deans of the Olesk, Brody, Busk and Pidkamin deaneries arrived here accompanied by a representative of the eparchy and by some priests with the purpose
of brutally and counter to all canon and state laws throwing Bishop Teodozij Ivashkiv out of the parish house.
