Since 13th August 2009 a silent prayer manifestation takes place in front of the Regional Council in Lvov every day from 8am to 9pm. A group of believers stand there holding a placard. There is also an icon of the Holy Virgin which gives an opportunity for prayer. On Friday, the feast of the Beheading of John the Baptist, here, in front of the Regional Council, there was a prayer manifestation connected with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. The main celebrant was Bishop Markian OSBM. The Divine Liturgy was concelebrated by 8 priests and attended by several hundred believers. The intention of the gathering and Liturgy was: for registration of the UOGCC.

The prayer manifestation was prolonged for one more month!
