Response to a mendacious statement

                   of the Information Department of the UGCC

The authors of the lampoon purposefully conceal or distort the elementary fact that ex-Card. Husar, along with the bishops of the UGCC who are in unity with him, has been excluded from the Church owing to his public proclamation of heresies. Their official statements are invalid before God as well as before Christ’s Church!

Because we defend Christ’s Mystical Body – the Church – against heresies, the heretics sit in judgement over us. Their judgements are, of course, lawless and invalid. What methods of lying do they use in their lampoon?

1)      They have titled us with terms of abuse, which they keep emphasizing like a slogan in order to inculcate hatred towards us upon the deceived priests and believers!

2)      They are always repeating a lie that we were “excommunicated from the Church”. But what is the truth? We were not excommunicated either in accordance with God’s laws or with the Church laws.

As for the alleged Church document, it is a deceit. The letter from the Apostolic Signatura undersigned by Secretary F. Daneels is no official document which would confirm a frame-up trial against us – bishops and members of a religious order of pontifical right. We, as bishops, could be judged only by the Holy Father himself. Since we are religious of the order of pontifical right, neither Bishop M. Koltun nor Card. L. Husar had the right to judge us, the more so because both of them are heretics. The Information Department of the UGCC, as the speaking trumpet of the official heretics of the UGCC, uttered a series of wilful lies. The authors of the lampoon refer to these lies as if to reality.

However, the Secretary of the Apostolic Signatura F. Daneels writes: “Having seen your instances to the Holy Father, this Apostolic Signatura does not see any reason to intervene in this matter.” Since it was a deceit on the part of the Information Department of the UGCC, we turned to the Apostolic Signatura with a request for a clear and binding decree.

“Your Excellency, we would appreciate if You would write an unequivocal reply whether You confirm the illegal excommunication or, regarding the fact that You are not competent, whether You transmit the matter to the Holy Father Benedict XVI.    Pidhirtsi, 12th November 2008” The copy of this letter was sent to Church as well as state authorities. Since that time more than a year has passed and we have not received any decree which would approve the frame-up trial and scandalous crime of the apostate Bishop M. Koltun in Zhovkva or of ex-Card. L. Husar in Lvov. So suggestive echoing that we were “excommunicated” by Rome is a lie!

Even if we should now receive such document additionally, in this time of a deep crisis inside the Church it remains a useless scrap of paper. God’s laws are being denied by heresies and so the canon code is no longer in force either! Nowadays heresy has reached catastrophic proportions, and the heretics holding the highest posts have been unmasked. Thus the time of “straining out a gnat” (cf. Mt 23:24) and manipulating the canon law towards liquidation of the last remains of the faithful has come to an end! God’s laws have convicted the criminals who were killing the souls; they have fallen under the punishment of anathema! This is God’s judgement!
