BCP: An appeal to American Catholics, priests, and above all, bishops (video)
Post date: 2026-01-22Autor: BCP
The basic condition of our salvation is repentance. Jesus warns us, “Unless you repent, you will all perish.” He says at the beginning of the gospel, “Repent, and believe in the gospel!”What does it mean for modern-day American Catholics to repent? It means to change the way of thinking! To turn away from the false thinking of the spirit of the world and adopt the mind of Christ. To stop blindly believing the lies of the mass media, and believe in the gospel of Christ and the real truths.

Death and Resurrection of Christ /a contemplative prayer/
Post date: 2011-04-30Autor: Synod UO GCC
The spiritual resurrection of the Church will begin through a renewed celebration of the Day of Resurrection – Sunday. Early Christians had four fundamental spiritual pillars: a) the apostles’ teaching, b) fellowship (koinonia), c) common prayers, d) the Eucharist (see Acts 2:42). All these four elements need to be realized on the day which is wholly consecrated to God. It is not sufficient just to attend the Divine Liturgy (the Eucharist), but the Christians also need to gather in small communities (cells). Again, the pattern for us is the Apostles and early Christians. They not only attended the temple but also gathered in their homes. We bring forward a model for celebration of the Resurrection Day.

A call for mission in Russia (Part 2)
Post date: 2011-02-02Autor: BCP
We hereby present a concrete programme of preparation of priests for internal mission in Russia:Priests shall lead a semi-monastic way of life. Saint Basil emphasized: “Woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” (Ecc 4:10) From Sunday evening to Tuesday noon it is necessary to create the conditions of spiritual desert – that means to seclude yourself from your family and daily worries and to devote time to prayer and God’s Word in fellowship. The model presented here has been practised by a community of seven bishops for several years and it has proved its worth. Print the material for the spiritual programme as a brochure and use it at the prayer meetings (one and a half days). If you pray this prayer, and you are not a citizen of Russia, so pray for your nation.

The celebration of 7th day for priests
Post date: 2007-02-27Autor: community
In the present extremely heavy crisis and mass apostasy from Christ and from the Church it is essential for us priests to accept biblical parameters for both our own and the Church’s renewal! Let us found the celebration of the seventh day upon four biblical pillars (cf. Acts 2:42). You, dear fathers, bishops and priests, propagate and actualize this firm foundation – the celebration of the seventh day – of a true internal reform of the clergy that will bring as a fruit the renewal of families, parishes, dioceses and of the Church.
