Considering the request of eight monks of the Order of Saint Basil the Great (OSBM) from the Monastery in Pidhirci, Brody district, Lvov region, I give my consent and blessing to the establishment of a monastery of eparchial right on the territory of the Diocese of Kolomyja-Chernivtsi.

And also to the transition of the monks with perpetual vows: Fr. Roman Šelepko, Fr. Markian Hitiuk, Fr. Cyril Špiřík, Fr. Eliáš Dohnal, as well as Fr. Samuel Oberhauser, br. Kyrylo Žuk, br. Dmytro Karpa to a newly established monastery of a diocesan right in accordance with the consent Congregation for Oriental Churches, since their request was submitted to the Congregation on 16. 07. 2004 A.D.
