Your Eminence, although You were warned of this several times and You had an opportunity to repair or explain the above-mentioned things, You kept silent and by Your silence as Prefect of the Supreme Tribunal in the Church You approved of that all.
Therefore I ask You immediately to withdraw this completely illegal process and to appoint an impartial tribunal which would examine my alleged guilt: to declare clearly when and where I committed the offence, to furnish evidence of my guilt, to accept the official evidence of my innocence, to enable me to get acquainted with the documents of the lawsuit – and thus to give me a chance of defence. None of these things has been done until this day!
