On October 17, 2006 we received a letter from the beneficiary association, wherein they informed us that they could no longer lend us whatever aid – that means no financial aid for building repairs or for the support of our novitiate – in spite of the fact that all men and women religious in Ukraine do receive such aid. There must likewise be no aid given to our old and ill sisters who suffered in the time of illegality and remained faithful to Christ.
