On 31st July 2009 representatives of state authorities along with the police and a group of people, led by Mr R. Kurash, arrived in the Monastery of St. Elias the Prophet. They committed multiple criminal acts against the defenceless sisters. The purpose was to morally compromise the contemplative monastery of St. Elias the Prophet, whereto the means was an abuse of the feelings of one of the postulant’s relatives and an abuse of the state authorities. The responsibility for this whole action lies with Card. Husar and Archbp. Voznyak.
