On 31st July 2009 governmental authorities (the police and State Security Committee/KGB/) in cooperation with representatives of the heretical Synod of the UGCC delivered a criminal attack on the contemplative monastery of St. Elias the Prophet in Bryukhovychi. The purpose of this attack was to morally defame and compromise the monastery of sisters which has become officially subordinate to the orthodox Catholic Synod of the UGCC. This is an open religious persecution of the believers who have freely chosen to come within the jurisdiction of the orthodox Catholic Synod of the UGCC. This documentary is a testimony to physical and moral violence used by government authorities against defenceless sisters. The key person engaged in this barbarous crime and profanation of a sacred place is Mr Roman Kurash, Head of Department on Matters of Nationalities and Religions of the Regional Council in Lvov. This criminal action was a carrying out of the intention of the heretic Card.
