The question of Assisi /1986, 2002/
Post date: 2009-07-28Autor:
Your Holiness, in the light of a critical situation in the Church and a mass abuse of the gesture of John Paul II in Assisi it is evident that the fundamental dogmas of the faith have been denied. The Pope’s gesture has indirectly confirmed a heresy that unicity of salvation in Christ does not hold true any longer.
What is the attitude of the Eastern Church towards the meetings in Assisi? The Apostolic Canon 45 states: “A bishop, priest or deacon who prays with heretics must be excommunicated...” According to this Canon 45 Pope John Paul II is excommunicated for a public prayer with the servants of the realm of darkness and for causing offence to the whole Church. This is the spirit of the Apostolic Canon 45.
