The spirit of both the Gospel and the Eastern Tradition is expressed even nowadays in the Apostolic Canons. What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? (2Cor 6:15)” The commentator D. Salakhas states: “The tone of this norm carries much weight because a heretic is presented as a follower of the devil...”
