Dear brother in the apostolic ministry, we, members of the Bishops’ Synod of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church, are turning to You with an urgent appeal for confession of true faith and renouncement of the contemporary heresies which destroy the Mystical Body of Christ.
The last chance of public confession of faith and public renouncement of heresies lasts for You until 25th December 2009 – the Nativity of Christ.
Unless You Yourself confess the faith publicly, You thus make it manifest that You agree with the heresies which destroy the Church at the root, and according to can. 1364 §1 cic You incur a latae sententiae excommunication and likewise, according to God’s law, You fall under an anathema (Gal 1:8-9), i.e. excommunication from the Church.
