In a letter of 24th June 2009 our orthodox Catholic Synod of the UGCC appealed to 13 Superiors General by name to confess the true Catholic faith and to renounce heresies.

These Superiors were called to confess their faith by 15th July 2009. They did not do so and thus made it manifest that they refuse to confess the true Catholic faith and to radically dissociate themselves from the named heresies and from the spirit that is behind them.

Therefore according to can. 750, can. 1364 §1, can. 1044 §1 CIC and according to God’s law (Gal 1:8-9) they incur the latae sententiae penalty of excommunication by reason of apostasy from the faith, i.e. they are excommunicated from the Church. They condemned themselves and we only make the names of these apostates public before the Church:

2)      P.Ab. Olivera D. Bernardo (the Trappists)

3)      P. Azpiroz Costa Carlos Alfonso (the Dominicans)

4)      P. Rodríguez Carballo José (the Franciscans)

5)      P. Jögri Mauro (the Capuchins)

6)      P. Tasca Marco (the Conventuals)

7)      P. Marinelli Francesco (the Minimi)

8)      P. Wolf.D. Notker (the Benedictines)

9)      P. Tobin Joseph William (the Redemptorists)

10)   Don Pascual Chávez Villanueva (the Salesians)

11)  P. Millán Romeral Fernando (the Carmelites)

12)  P. Prevost Robert Francis (the Augustinians)

13)  P. Thomas Anton Handgrätinger (the Premonstratensians)
