Learn by heart Jn 14:2-3

In my Father’s house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you... and I will receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

1)    How many mansions are there in heaven?

2)    What did Jesus go to prepare for us?

3)    Whom will Jesus receive to Himself, and where will we be?

In my Father’s house are many mansions.

Who serves God in heaven and who stands before Him? (Dan 7:10)

Who are those that came in white robes and where are they now? (Rev 7:13-17)

Who is to rejoice? (Rev 12:12a)

What is in store for us after death? (2Cor 5:1)

I go to prepare a place for you.

a)      Heaven is a place of eternal joy. (1Cor 2:9)

In heaven we will be partakers of the happiness of God Himself (Mt 25:21)

because we will partake of the divine nature (1Jn 3:2).

The elect may always see God’s face. (Mt 18:10)

The elect neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore. (Rev 7:13-17)

The elect will suffer no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. (Rev 21:4)

b)      The joy in heaven lasts for ever and varies.

No one will take their joy from them. (Jn 16:22)

Where will the righteous go? (Mt 25:46)

The difference of the reward. (2Cor 9:6)

...and I will receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Nothing unclean shall enter heaven. (Rev 21:27)

One must give everything. (Mt 13:44)

Narrow way. (Mt 7:14)

One must lose one’s soul. (Jn 12:25)

The righteous have the peace of soul even now. (Jn 14:27)

They are united with God. (1Jn 4:16)

Jesus is in their hearts already now. (Eph 3:17)
