We are no Orthodox (that means members of the Orthodox Church not united with You), we are Greek Catholics. Our fathers and mothers suffered for this faithfulness and many of them even sacrificed their lives as martyrs. This is our greatest spiritual treasure.
Your Holiness, we so much ask You that by Your authority You prohibit calling us “Orthodox” in the Holy Liturgy, because this word hurts us, brings division and is connected with schism.
