Answer: We did not excommunicate anyone from the Catholic and Christ’s Church. The bishops named did so themselves. We, on the contrary, called upon them to dissociate themselves from the heresies of Card. L. Husar. They did not do so, and that was why we were obliged before God and before the Church to make their apostasy public.
