We hope You are aware that Your excommunications against us are like a scrap of paper – invalid – and, moreover, You are drawing down God’s punishments on Yourselves. You as heretics excommunicated from the Church have no spiritual authority before God any more, and therefore You cannot excommunicate or punish us orthodox bishops. Your intimidation is effective only with those who fear You rather than God.
