the orthodox Catholic Bishops’ Synod of the UGCC from Ukraine hereby announces before the whole Church that Bishop __________ was excommunicated from the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church – as a heretic and apostate. This promulgation of anathema was preceded by a binding appeal for the confession of faith and renouncement of heresies of 24th June 2009.

Reverend Bishop, because You remained in obstinacy, You thus manifested before the Church Your interior state of apostasy. You betrayed Christ and His Gospel. As from 3rd August 2009, the sacraments administered by You – with the exception of Baptism – are invalid.

If You die in this state of impenitence, You will be eternally condemned.

You have only one choice: to confess the faith additionally and publicly, and thereafter to ask the Holy Father for adequate penance.
