Dear Mr Palyichuk,

we announce to You that the standing Synod of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC), which represents the majority of the believers of the UGCC, undertook the lay initiative “Petition for protection of family”. This was the duty of the apostate bishops Vladimir Vijtyshyn, Sophron Mudryi OSBM and Mykola Simkaylo. Unfortunately, they neglected it – before God, before the Church and before the nation.

The believers will deliver the petitions to You during September. Be brave; do not permit God’s punishment to fall upon Ivano-Frankivsk for a betrayal of God and His laws! May the Mother of God obtain for You the light and the strength. This will decide not only a blessing or a curse, but the whole eternity – eternal life or eternal perdition!

May Ivano-Frankivsk become a pattern for all regions of Ukraine in the efforts at protection of the family!
