Dear deputies of the Ukrainian parliament, we, bishops of the new orthodox Catholic Synod of the UGCC, are turning to You in the matter of legalization of the activity of diviners, astrologers and magicians. The majority of You are Christians (Orthodox, Greek-Catholics or members of evangelical denominations). That is why we turn to You as to our brothers in Christ and implore You on Christ’s behalf with meekness but insistently: renew Your relation to Christ, Your communion with Him, for this is what Your salvation and the blessing for all Ukraine depends on! Become united and through voting in Parliament do not permit the servants of the devil and the enemies of Christ, i.e. astrologers, magicians, extrasensory individuals and diviners, to be legalized and to spiritually and physically destroy the Ukrainian nation through their so-called profession.
