Letter to the Bishops of Ireland

Dear brothers in the episcopal ministry,

the Irish nation has found itself at a historic crossroads which will influence the lives and salvation of the next generations not only in Ireland but in all Europe. The Lisbon Treaty promotes antivalues such as abortions, euthanasia, open marriages, same-sex marriages, dechristianization of public life etc. Whichever society adopts these antivalues is condemned to degradation and downfall. Therefore each of You, brother bishops, has in this crucial moment personal responsibility before God and before the whole Irish nation. Every bishop of Ireland is obliged to defend God’s laws and the values stemming from them, even if he was persecuted by the world or by his own. The Preamble to the Lisbon Treaty clearly testifies that the EU refuses to make space for the Christian morals and to give the Christians freedom to proclaim the full Gospel. In this situation You are obliged to interpret God’s standpoint and to give the word of prophecy to President, to politicians and to the people of Ireland. Would that it were as clear and powerful as that spoken by St. Patrick against all idols and powers of darkness. That was also why he could obtain through his prayers a blessing and faithfulness to Christ even for the future generations. In the same spirit as St. Patrick, write a pastoral letter which will be a truly historic one.

However, if Your Bishops’ Conference is ruled by the spirit of the antipapal structure, which through abuse of obedience covertly and cunningly promotes the opposite of what God wants and what the papacy represents, do not allow this spirit of betrayal to influence You. In such case let every bishop write with full responsibility before God his personal pastoral letter to the faithful.

An appalling example of this betrayal inside the Church is the address held by the President of the Bishops’ Conference of Germany, Archbishop Zollitsch. This year he publicly denied the very essence of Christianity. In Ukraine Card. L. Husar along with the whole Bishops’ Conference (Synod) has the same spirit of betrayal and likewise approves of homosexual marriage. Card. L. Husar overtly preaches heresies, whereby he destroys the essence of Christianity. These traitors of Christ and of the Church, who are under God’s anathema, are protected by the so-called antipapal structure which is doing quite the opposite of what is represented by the Pope and papacy and which, moreover, shelters itself behind the Pope’s authority!

The same antichristian spirit which is destroying the Church within is behind the Lisbon Treaty as well. This spirit destroys the saving faith and leads to eternal perdition!

Let the Spirit of God hold rule over Your Conference and over each individual Bishop. This Spirit of God guided the Apostle Paul and all apostles, apologists, martyrs as well as St. Patrick, the apostle of Ireland, to a heroic confession of faith!

Would that each of You boldly confessed his faith in the Triune God and renounced heresies publicly before his flock. Afterward You should say a clear word of an apostle of Christ concerning the second referendum.

As for the confession of faith, the formula was sent to all bishops of the Catholic Church on 14th March 2009. The bishop who will refuse to confess the Catholic faith to the Pope and before the faithful by the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross (14th September 2009) will thus make it manifest that he has internally apostatized from the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church – the same as Archbishop Zollitsch, Card. Vlk and Card. Husar along with the whole apostatic Synod. Such bishop imposes upon himself, or rather publishes, the heaviest penalty of anathema (cf. Gal 1:8-9). The priests, religious and believers must no longer obey such bishop because he is an apostate.

Dear brother bishops, be the first to set an example of a brave confession of faith and renouncement of heresies to all sincere bishops of the Catholic Church. Heresies destroy the foundations of the Gospel and papacy. If You make this heroic step against the spirit of betrayal which is inside the Catholic Church, this spirit of death will leave the Church and the process of the Church’s renewal will start!

If You publicly confess the saving faith and renounce heresies before the faithful (see the formula), the faithful, learning from Your example, will then easily discern the things which are of God and that which are not. The Catholics of Ireland themselves will then understand that in essence, the Lisbon Treaty brings a decay of moral and spiritual values and that they can by no means give it their vote. For this heroic gesture of faith God will send His blessing on the Irish, on all Europe and on the whole Church. This is what God wants.

And what does God want of You and of the entire nation concretely? The answer: Repentance and conversion. Who is to begin? In the first place You, the bishops, and then all religious, priests and believers. How to begin? With prayer. When and how to pray? Continually (see Lk 18:1) and involving all the faithful. The common intention: victory of the referendum. What to pray? The Catholics are recommended the Rosary, but one can also pray other prayers which are directed to the Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. How concretely? The believers will form prayer-groups. Each believer will keep one-hour prayer-guard a day in the place where he is. The prayer-group will be comprised of 24 people and occupy all hours of the day. At 2100 the bishops and priests will send a blessing to all prayer-groups from the place where they will be at that time. At least 5 minutes before 2100 the believers should pray in silence and receive with faith the blessing in the place where they are. All believers should keep the fast on Wednesdays and Fridays, best on bread and water. Just as God gave a miraculous victory in the time of King Jehoshaphat (see 2Chron 20:1-24) or in the time of King Hezekiah (see Isa 36-37), He will give victory even today. At the same time our Bishops’ Synod hereby brings forward this prayer initiative and calls all sincere Christians in Europe, both Catholics and non-Catholics, to form prayer-groups in these days and to support the people of Ireland in their spiritual battle with the powers of darkness. These powers are aiming at denial of Christ, at demoralization and eventually at eternal perdition. Now is the time of mobilization, the time of spiritual battle. Let every sincere Christian in Europe join this spiritual battle through the prayer-groups and personal fasting. The Word of God says for this situation: “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain (of demonic powers): ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea (hell),’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” (Mk 11:23) Jesus gives an example of an urgent prayer in the parable of the importunate widow (cf. Lk 18:2-5). And Jesus’ word holds true even today and for each of You: “Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Mt 18:19) As the Holy Father Benedict XVI is exposed to extremely strong pressures from both within and without, his silence on the prayer initiative is taken as his approval and blessing.
