Superior General OSBM Basil Koubetch as well as Provincial Superior of the Ukrainian Province OSBM Joannicius Chverenchuk have excluded themselves from the Church by reason of their unity with heresies of ex-Card. L. Husar.

Therefore, in order to separate from the heretical and apostatical branch, we, the undersigned Bishops of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church, have established a renewed branch of the Order of St. Basil the Great under the name of “The Order of St. Basil the Great – reformed”, abbreviated to OSBMr.
