A letter to ex-Bishops of the Czech Republic

Carissimi,

the situation in the present-day Church is catastrophic (the Pope apologizes for paedophilia among the clergy – millions of dollars have been put into lawsuits dealing with these affairs in America and the whole world is scandalized; through Your fault the Czech Republic passed a bill on homosexual marriages; the Czech Republic takes the lead in atheism in all Europe). What have You done for the sake of a true spiritual awakening? What example of personal conversion and true following of Christ have You set to people? Do not evade responsibility!

Where is the root of the crisis of the Church? The root is apostasy from the living faith. The present generation of priests was and is formed in the spirit of so-called historical-critical theology and respect for pagan religions. The former leads to practical unbelief and the latter to idolatry. Unbelief and idolatry are sins against God’s First Commandment. And such spirit comes out of the Catholic seminaries in Prague and Olomouc. You as Bishops of the Czech Republic bore the full responsibility for dissemination of this spirit of heresy which infected and is still infecting the intending priests and thus even the whole Church in the Czech Republic (CR).

God’s Word says: “If anyone preaches any other gospel, let him be accursed – anathema sit.” (Gal 1:8-9) What is the essence of the Gospel – the good news? It is acceptance of the truth that Christ died for our sins and as God rose from the dead. Here it holds true that: “Whoever believes will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Ex-Archbp. Zollitsch does not believe. On the contrary, he preaches that “Christ did not die for our sins” and this is ‘haeresis maxima’. The second great heresy is the statement that “Christ did not rise from the dead historically and really but just ‘eschatologically’” – i.e. unreally – as it is proclaimed by Prof. T. Halík. Since in spite of several appeals You, Bishops of CR, did not separate from these two gravest heresies which deny the essence of the Gospel and of the Church, You automatically fell under God’s punishment of anathema. On 26th July 2009 You, the below-named ex-bishops, excommunicated Yourselves from the Church:

So You are excommunicated from Christ’s Church and as You are apostates, the sacraments administered by You are invalid. If You will not repent – i.e. not confess the faith and renounce heresies – and You will die in the state of obstinacy, You will be eternally condemned!

St. Peter denied but then he repented, unlike You who reject repentance. By Your unity with heresies You tear the Mystical Body of Christ – the Church and draw down a spiritual curse upon the whole Church in CR. The Church which does not have the Spirit of Christ and has received a different gospel cannot be the Catholic Church any longer. A different gospel, which You proclaim, destroys the saving faith and ends in hell. It is a false gospel of heretics, liberals and Masons. Because You did not separate Yourselves from heretics and heresies, the believers have to separate themselves from You if they want to remain in the true Christ’s and Catholic Church. True repentance for You is to confess the faith, separate from heretics and heresies and then withdraw into seclusion, for once someone has denied Christ and become an apostate one can hold no office in the Church any more. However, You do not want to renounce heresies nor to leave the power structure. You care neither about Christ nor about salvation of the immortal souls but only about Your own career. You do not fear God nor respect man.

A similar situation was in the time of St. Basil. He clearly identified the apostate bishops and called upon the believers not to obey them any more and to separate from them as from godless people.

You, ex-bishops of CR, along with the Greek-Catholic Hu?ko form the so-called ?BK (Czech Bishops’ Conference). The spiritual atmosphere of apostasy in the ?BK is created by three leading representatives of the apostatical Focolare movement: Vlk, Graubner and Hu?ko. Ex-Archbp. Graubner is known for his contacts with the Lions Club.

You, members of the ?BK, have recently written a declaration against our Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC), which contains several mendacious statements, e.g. that our UOGCC is not in unity with the Pope. We declare that this statement of the ?BK is a lie! We are in unity with the Pope. We do not need any new acknowledgement. However, who is not in unity with the Pope is the Greek-Catholic Church in CR headed by Hu?ko and the Roman-Catholic Church in CR headed by ex-Card. Vlk. You have torn both these structures away from Christ’s Mystical Body through heresies which You obstinately persist in. Unlike You, we are in both internal and external unity with the Holy Father. If it were not so, the Holy Father would clearly say that we are not under his jurisdiction. You have been excommunicated from the Church according to God’s law (Gal 1:8-9). We, by contrast, are excommunicated neither by God’s law nor by the canon law. The heretic ex-Card. Husar did not excommunicate us but by his proclamation of heresies he has excommunicated himself. And You just keep parroting his lies – which suit You – with amazing unyieldingness.

These days God is creating a new structure. Intrigues carried on by You in 2003 by means of which You prevented the Ukrainians from establishing their own Church are well known. However, God wants the Catholic Church in the Czech Republic to have an orthodox alternative. Perhaps He will find at least those 300 honest and courageous ordinary people (Gideon’s heroes) who will advance this God’s structure.

Carissimi, be men! Admit that You denied Christ and that You did not renounce heresies which You are in unity with up to this day.

Resign honestly from Your offices and withdraw into seclusion (a monastery). For priests, believers and the whole Catholic Church it will be a gesture and example of true and honest men.

Give the believers an opportunity to choose new orthodox Catholic bishops who will be able to carry out a reform in the seminaries, to perform reevangelization and to bring the Spirit of Christ into the Czech nation.
