The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) approves of homosexuality

(Necessary revision of the CCC, art. 2357-2359)

Introduction

On 11th October 1992, John Paul II solemnly presented to the whole Church the new Catechism as a binding doctrine of the Church.

The tragedy is that in many places this Catechism contains inaccurate and misleading formulations which have very serious doctrinal and moral consequences. An example is the attitude towards homosexuality (2357-2359), which might be declared heretical. The propagators of homosexual immorality nowadays purposefully appeal to the CCC.

In the fight for the purity of faith and morals our analysis will use the following catchwords: truth, lie, fruit.

 

A)    The truth

What is the Church’s true view of homosexuality?

The sphere of sexuality was delimited by the Creator in the Sixth and Ninth Commandments of the Decalogue: You shall not commit adultery and you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife. Jesus, moreover, points out the root of this sin: “Every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Mt 5:28) The Word of God speaks about the dignity of the human body and about the Christian being the living temple of God (1Cor 3:17).

Jesus then speaks about the necessity of a radical fight with our thoughts and feelings: “If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off … and if your eye does, pluck it out.” (cf. Mk 9:43-47)

The Word of God clearly and categorically condemns not only fornication and adultery but also other perversities: homosexuality, paedophilia, zoophilia…

Lev 20:13: “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.”

Lev 18:22: “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.”

Lev 18:23: “Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion.”

Lev 20:15-16: “If a man mates with an animal, he shall surely be put to death, and you shall kill the animal. If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal.”

Lev 18:27-29: “For all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land was defiled. Beware then, lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it…”

Jesus cast out unclean spirits – demons – and these also include demons which are behind homosexuality. Homosexuality is either inherited (the sin of unbelief or occultism traced back to one’s ancestors) or acquired through homosexual propaganda.

 

The EU is introducing laws on homosexual marriages, on adoption of children by homosexuals and on so-called homophobia which affects those who defend the family and children against homosexual perversion. The main fault for the mass spread of this immorality lies with fallen-away Christianity which does not repent and through the heresies of HCT and respect for paganism has opened the door to the spirit of the world and to mass apostasy. The same spirit of manipulation and lie has penetrated into the CCC’s interpretation of homosexuality.

The Word of God gives a warning when fire comes down from heaven on the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah as a punishment (cf. Gen 18-19).

The inhabitants of Gibeah practised sodomitic perversity, for which almost the whole tribe of Benjamin (tens of thousands of people) was punished with death (cf. Jdg 19-20).

God’s Word clearly points out the root of homosexuality. It is apostasy (through historical-critical theology) and idolatry (through reverence for paganism: Nostra aetate declaration and the spirit of Assisi 1986, 2002).

However, the Catechism totally boycotts God’s Word which says: “People exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator … For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another.” (Rom 1:25-27)

 

The New Testament gives an emphatic warning to all mankind for the sin of the Sodomites: “God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, reducing them to ashes, making them an example for the godless people of what is coming.” (2Pt 2:6) “Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.” (Jude 7)

 

As to Church Tradition, when Pope St. Pius V was informed of a case of homosexuality among the clergy or hierarchy, he gave the order to degrade the concerned from all ecclesiastical dignities and to hand him over to temporal courts which punished this crime with death. The Pope added to it: “This is the only way how to eradicate this abomination.” In Iran (2005), the Muslims publicly hanged a 17- and 18-year-old youths as a punishment for this perversion! In Europe, homosexuality carries no penalty; on the contrary, homosexuality is being violently pushed through in all nations not only throughout the EU but throughout all Europe.

So much for the truth about homosexuality on the basis of the Scripture and Tradition: it is a mortal sin, an abomination and slavery to unclean spirits – demons.

 

What is the true attitude of love towards such person?

He (she) needs guidance in order that he (she) may:

a)      be converted and receive the Lord Jesus as his (her) Saviour and Lord;

b)      renounce the spirit of homosexuality, burn all pornography and all publicity material, and break off sinful relations;

c)      become firmly rooted in Christ through prayer, God’s Word, the sacraments and sound spiritual guidance. This entails “denying one’s self, carrying one’s cross and following Christ” (cf. Mt 16:24). Only when these conditions are emphasized and fulfilled, one can speak about the vocation to chastity, inner freedom and Christian perfection. Otherwise the words about freedom and chastity are merely weak phrases! (cf. CCC 2359)

 

B) THE LIE (6 levels of lie contained in the CCC)

 

1st level: Inaccurate formulation

Quotation (CCC 2357): “Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex.”

Response: What kind of spirit stems from this formulation? It states indirectly that homosexuality is quite a normal thing; it does not say that it is an abomination as it is truthfully termed by God’s Word. Jesus cast out even this kind of unclean spirits!

Relations established on “experience of sexual attraction” outside marital order are sinful, they are fornication and adultery. As for the so-called “sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex”, this is perversity. The Holy Scripture calls it an abomination and not by an innocent term “attraction”.

 

2nd level: Calling into question – historical and cultural basis

Quotation (CCC 2357): “It (homosexuality) has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures.”

Response: In this formulation again sin is legalized and the abomination, which the Holy Scripture speaks about, is not called by its proper name. The most shameless perversities the CCC poetically terms “a great variety of forms”. It is not important at all to take into account different centuries with different cultures of pagan idolatry; what is important is that in all Christian cultures and in all centuries homosexuality has always been explicitly termed a grave sin and abomination!

 

3rd level: Calling into question – psychological basis

Quotation (CCC 2357): “Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained.”

Response: God’s Word in Rom 1:25-26 clearly points out the psychological genesis of homosexuality.

a)      apostasy – “they exchanged the truth of God for the lie” (v.25a)

b)      idolatry – “they worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator” (v.25b)

c)      the consequence is expressed by the words “for this reason”: “... for this reason God gave them up to vile passions” – i.e. to homosexuality (v.26)

So the psychological genesis is more than clear!

 

4th level: The truth as an alibi

Quotation (CCC 2357): “Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered’.”

Response: It seems here as if a sin was called a sin and an abomination an abomination; however, in reality it is not so. From the whole context it follows that these quotations are a mere alibi. Moreover, they speak only about Tradition which modern theologians, reared on historical-critical theology, nowadays treat with contempt and have different opinions on it. Even the very Decalogue is viewed by them as some period moral laws which are no longer obligatory. The Catechism does not even once state explicitly that homosexuality is a sin and that a Christian must not practise this perversion!

Quotation (CCC 2357): “Homosexual acts are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.”

Response: However, a few lines below, propagators of homosexuality in the Church add an explanation according to which the given truth seems to be a mere one-sided opinion which, moreover, is discriminatory, i.e. homophobic!

The CCC views homosexuality only from the human point of view. It conceals the clear attitude of God which it is obliged to present to the believers. It conceals that homosexuality is a sin and abomination.

 

5th level: Theories on a false foundation

The theories contained in the CCC have nothing in common with God’s Word and Tradition of the Church.

Quotation (CCC 2358): “The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible.”

Response: The CCC purposefully exaggerates the number and at the same time as if implies that we have to tolerate perverted relations. The CCC speaks about deep-seated – congenital tendencies; however, it is hypocritically silent on acquired homosexuality. The Catechism also conceals the reality that homosexuality is connected with an unclean spirit which one must renounce in a prayer of liberation.

Quotation (CCC 2358): “This inclination constitutes for most of them a trial.”

Response: What is the way out of this trial? Converted homosexuals testify that it is necessary to break radically whatever contact with former lovers, destroy pornographic literature and films as well as all publicity material. However, the misleading phrases of the Catechism are not able to tell the truth, still less show these people the way of liberation!

Quotation (CCC 2358): “They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity.”

Response: This directly forbids telling the truth about sin. We must not lead them to conversion and repentance. In actual fact, this false respect and false sensitivity is cruelty on the part of the Church because it offers no solution. Moreover, in case one follows these false principles presented in the Catechism, one will most likely become a homosexual oneself.

Quotation (CCC 2358): “Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.”

Response: We ask: Does the CCC present to us the obligatory Divine truths or some atheistic psychologies which advocate, generalize and propagate homosexuality? The Catechism does not permit the truth of the Holy Scripture about homosexuality to be said. Moreover, it treats it as “discrimination”.

Quotation (CCC 2358): “These persons are called to fulfil God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.”

Response: What does the CCC mean by the term “to fulfil God’s will” in relation to pagans and Christians who practise this abomination and change partners? God’s will is expressed concretely in 1Cor 6:9: “Do not be deceived, men who practise homosexuality, will not inherit the kingdom of God” – unless they repent in truth! The CCC, however, is silent on repentance. If instead of repentance it advises to unite “to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross” homosexuality and its consequences, it is degradation and mockery of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus on Golgotha.

 

6th level: Pious phrases

Quotation (CCC 2359): “Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom...”

Response: Behind homosexuality is an unclean spirit. Jesus liberates from unclean spirits even today. Experience has shown that exorcism or prayer of liberation must be followed by true self-denial, interior prayer, a hard fight with thoughts and feelings and radical avoidance of sin. It is similar to the process of liberation from drug addiction. Usually only after three or five years this person may be completely healed. In comparison with it, theories of the CCC are just pious misleading phrases.

Quotation (CCC 2359): “...by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.”

Response: Without repentance this all is a pack of phrases again. Where will such disinterested friendship, which does not even exclude friendship with other homosexuals, end?

Sacramental grace without conversion and repentance does not work. On the contrary, it is a sacrilege! If today some homosexuals demand church wedding, they are evidently inspired by the Catechism of the Catholic Church which speaks confusedly about sacramental grace.

The words about Christian perfection without denying one’s self and losing one’s soul for Christ’s sake (cf. Mk 8:34) are mere godless phrases! The utopia of the CCC denies the fundamental principles of a true spiritual fight and presents false theories which keep Christians in sin and slavery. The CCC is to blame for the current epidemic of homosexuality and paedophilia.

 

C) THE FRUIT

 

a) The fruit of the truth – conversion and liberation

The Ukrainian journal “Dva slova” (Two Words) 4/2010 carries a personal testimony of Natalia U. from Eastern Ukraine who felt to be a man from her childhood. When she was about 20 years old, she fell into a deep depression. At that time she started to cry unto God in earnest and beg for forgiveness of her sins. This was when she experienced true conversion. Natalia admits that in previous depressions she felt a strong inner urge to commit suicide. When she became converted and received Jesus as her Saviour, she sought help in a living Christian community. There she learnt that there is a spiritual world of demons and that these demons can live in the people. These unclean powers transform the human mind and cause homosexuality. During one prayer she renounced the spirit which kept her in a lie and immoral dependence. However, this was not enough. Afterwards, a Protestant pastor along with his co-workers prayed for her for the next three years. When she was 24 years old, she fully accepted that she is a woman and not a man. She accepted the reality which she had hated for all her life. She fully accepted herself as a woman and started to behave naturally and think like a woman. She testifies herself: “I am happy that I am a woman, I would like to get married and have children. I know that my family will be happy. I witness that Jesus is God of my life. He is everything to me. I have never even longed to be so happy as I am now.”

 

b) The fruit of the lie – spiritual and moral destruction

In America, Ireland, Australia, Germany and other states homosexual and paedophiliac scandals have broken even among the clergy. The responsibility for it also falls on the Catholic Catechism which, in fact, approves of homosexuality. The evidence of it, among other things, is public propagation of homosexuality in Munich on 13th-15th May 2010. The direct organizer of this event is the Archbishopric of Munich.

Other negative fruits of the lie:

v     About 50 percent of the infected with the AIDS virus are homosexuals.

v     The majority of homosexuals are not able to live with one partner. Statistics show that an active homosexual on average has about 550 short-term partners, while at the same time having one long-term partner.

v     Many of them suffer from disorders of the anal sphincter. This causes involuntary discharge of faeces which requires wearing of nappies.

v     These people also suffer from anal ulcers, anal fissures and haemorrhoids. Often they develop anus cancer or diseases of the prostate gland.

v     As for mental health of homosexuals, incidence of depression is very high, as well as of suicides. Apart from it, they mostly do not live to be very old.

v     Homosexuality likewise causes psychical and spiritual disintegration of the individual, family and society.

v     The EU aggressively advocates so-called homosexual marriages and their preferential claim to adoption of children, and prosecutes so-called homophobia. Within the framework of sexual education our children will obligatorily watch pornographic perversities in the schools. If the parents protest against it, their children will be taken away from them and the parents will be put in prison. This is homodictatorship.

 

Conclusion

 

Your Holiness, we demand the necessary revision of the Catechism, art. 2357-2359, concerning homosexuality. The Catechism was approved by John Paul II, wherefore he is to blame most for the heresies contained therein and for their fruits. We beseech You again: Cancel the planned beatification of John Paul II who bears full responsibility for the current crisis of the Church.
