Letter to Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada
Prime Minister of Canada
Stephen Harper
Dear Sir,
on 25th October 2010 You visited President of Ukraine V. F. Yanukovych. Your visit concerned the problem of discrimination and freedom of conscience of the Ukrainian citizens. President V. Yanukovych assured You that there is no discrimination in Ukraine. We can confirm that it is true with one exception which, however, does not depend on the President of Ukraine as in this matter he is under the political pressure of the leadership of the UGCC and Vatican dicasteries. It concerns religious discrimination, i.e. unlawful denial of registration of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC). The UOGCC was established two years ago as a result of the fact that ex-Card. L. Husar began to publicly proclaim heresies against the Christian faith! Unfortunately, Bishops of the UGCC support him in this respect and the Vatican is cynically silent on it! Ex-Card. L. Husar casts doubt upon the Divinity of Christ, the Virginity of the Mother of God, propagates reincarnation, does not accept the Pope’s primacy and infallibility ex cathedra, divines by pendulum and allows homosexual activities (see his book “Discussions with His Beatitude L. Husar: On Postconfessional Christianity”, ISBN 966-8197-10-0).
Dear Sir, on the following day, 26th October 2010, You visited Lvov and in the first place the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) and the Church of St. George which are the cause and the source of the religious discrimination mentioned. They are exerting pressure (directly as well as through people of influence, obviously including You) upon the State Committee on Matters of Nationalities and Religions and upon the Ukrainian government in order to make them violate the Ukrainian laws and unlawfully deny registration of the UOGCC. But this is manifest religious discrimination!
As our believers had no other possibility of informing You about this crime against the believers of the UOGCC, they opened a banner before You which displayed the information about this discrimination. However, You, dear Sir, deliberately turned away so as not see that! Shame on such democracy whose advocates see discrimination where it suits them and are silent on thousands of crimes against the defenceless because to defend them would run counter to the political interests of the ruling caste.
It is publicly known that ex-Card. L. Husar and chancellor of the UCU B. Gudzyak, whom You met in person, are, among other things, in close contact with the Masonic lodges and also support homosexuality! We are really sorry but owing to Your gesture You showed Yourself in a bad light, i.e. that You are either a Mason or a homosexual!
We believe that by Your intervention with the President of Ukraine in the matter of lawful registration of the UOGCC You will reestablish Your reputation before the public and prove that You are neither a member of the Masonic lodge nor a homosexual.
Thank You in advance for Your help.
