                                  Gays adopted a Ukrainian child

Changes in the laws continue in Ukraine these days. The amended laws are deliberately vaguely worded, so that Members of Parliament who approve these laws do not have accurate information as to the consequences of these legislative changes for Ukraine. Behind the whole action of these legislative changes is pressure from abroad having in view legalization of amorality and antilaws which destroy all moral values. In addition, its aim is the loss of Ukrainian independence. Psychological pressure and bribery cause gradual decay of Ukraine’s independence and of her moral and spiritual values.

In January, a change in the law On Freedom of Worship and Religious Organizations was to take place; essentially, this change involved outlawing of true Christianity. In February, the UN Convention was adopted with an amendment which included the possibility of immediate complaints lodged by children with the UN Commission on Human Rights. And this month pressure is exerted on the President to sign this. This is, in fact, the introduction of the juvenile justice system, which means that children will be taken away from anyone and parents will not manage to obtain the right to get their children back. This system will remove children from decent and wealthy families, not children from families of alcoholics or drug addicts.

On 15 February, the Parliament ratified an amendment to the law on child adoption. Again, it was covert manipulation and deception of the public and deputies. And, moreover, it violated the Constitution of Ukraine. The Synod of the UOGCC responded to it and warned of the danger that the possibility of adoption of a child by one person practically means the possibility of child adoption by homosexuals. The Parliament then issued an additional statement that children cannot be adopted by homosexuals in Ukraine. However, at the same time the amendment hypocritically circumvented the Constitution of Ukraine. The amended law states that children may be adopted only by those foreigners who live in legal marriage. Our Synod warned that this amendment will be abused by the EU countries in which the concept of marriage also includes a perverted union of two people of the same sex. In this connection the Parliament, however, has issued no additional statement which would be consistent with the spirit of the Constitution of Ukraine. The consequences can already be seen in practice.

Social workers have informed that 30,000 Ukrainian children are ready to be put up for adoption. We ask: Can these children be adopted by homosexuals abroad? The answer to this is a concrete fact: A two-and-a-half-year-old Ukrainian boy Samuel, who had been held up on the border after a failed attempt at his abduction, was adopted at the end of February. He had been under the protection of the family of a certain lawyer in Lvov. Now he has been purchased for $ 4,500 by a so-called married couple from Belgium – Mr L. Gilaynu and his male partner, a cardiological physician.

This is a precedent for 30,000 children who will be sold to so-called married homosexual couples abroad. This month, if the President signs the amendment to the Convention and the juvenile justice system is put into effect, one can expect the fruit: mass exportation of Ukrainian children from the best families in Ukraine. Everything will be in line with the new laws and with EU standards. These changes in the law are a betrayal of conscience, a betrayal of Ukrainian values and a crime against humanity, and all who are involved in them commit genocide of Ukraine.

We beseech the Ukrainian patriots and Christians to urge the President:

1) to prevent adoption of children by homosexual couples abroad, and to secure child adoption by normal families in the spirit of the Constitution;

2) not to ratify the amendment to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child this month, which is practical implementation of juvenile justice.
