Word of life - Rom 3:30, Rom 4:3

“There is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.”

(Rom 3:30 NKJ /New King James Version 1982/) (20 March-3 April 2011)

“For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

(Rom 4:3 NKJ) (3 April-17 April 2011)

1) Which truth is emphasized?

The truth that there is one God and that He justifies through faith. What faith justifies from sin? The faith which unites the sinner to Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.

Abraham was a pagan, but he was justified by faith in the true God. Jesus Christ is true God. Abraham did not know the mystery of the Holy Trinity. His absolute confidence in God was associated with his acceptance of the whole Divine mystery, which relates to salvation in Jesus Christ.

One has to distinguish between pagans who have innerly opened up to pagan systems (Hinduism, Buddhism...) and pagans who have not innerly opened up to these false systems. The first group is enslaved by the spirit of darkness and lies of false prophets and their false teachings. These are different gurus and shamans. They do not hear God’s voice – the voice of conscience. Little by little, they killed it in themselves. Those who are not held under the spiritual power of false pagan systems and sincerely seek after the truth can be saved like Abraham.

But the main problem today is not to deal with the question of salvation of pagans but rather of salvation of fallen-away Christians. The former territory of the so-called Christian world witnesses proclamation of an antigospel. By whom? By false prophets (liberal theologians) and by the official hierarchy which is united with them in heresy. The spirit behind this antigospel is not the Spirit of Jesus Christ but the spirit of antichrist. By reason of proclamation of this antigospel, God’s punishment of anathema fell upon all official Catholic hierarchy (Gal 1:8-9). Church apostates caused mass apostasy from the saving faith! They replaced it with modern psychologies and heretical theologies. The fruit of the curse is now paedophilia, homosexuality, AIDS, drug abuse... A diametric change in thinking has taken place. Evil, perversity and egoism are considered the highest values. The concept of justice is disappearing more and more and the laws defend antijustice. Perversity is protected and defence of moral attitudes is punished. This curse of the apostatical Church has passed even on civilian structures. These structures have power and today they become instruments of demonic forces that pursue the genocide of all humanity.

Apostate Christians are in a worse condition than pagans. Unless they break with the heretical system and with the curse tied up with it, they cannot be saved.

Abraham is the model even for all pagans. He believed in one true God. Pagans will not be saved without the faith of Abraham. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him (God), for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Heb 11:6)

All people have conscience, the voice of God in us, through which they can recognize that “there is one God... and that He is a rewarder”. It is the will of God that all men be saved (cf. 1Tim 2:3-4). Servants of the devil proclaim false paths to salvation and kill the voice of conscience in man. These servants are gurus in paganism and liberal theologians (false prophets) in Christianity. The core of the problem today is the struggle for souls on former Christian territories. Christians have turned into modern pagans. This is evidenced by present-day America and Europe. Unless they are converted, they cannot be saved. Who is entirely to blame for this? Those who hold them under the rule of darkness and lies and do not allow the living and saving Gospel to be proclaimed. It is in the first place the apostatical hierarchy with its false prophets – theologians. If nowadays a Christian turns to heresies or a pagan to idols, they thus stifle the voice of God and reject the saving faith.

False thinking is also to see salvation in good works, theological education, formal membership in the Church or in pagan religions. Salvation is conditioned by repentance on our part. The essence of repentance is a change in thinking. True thinking which ensures salvation is to accept the truth that salvation is only and only in true God – Jesus Christ.

2) What is the connection with other verses of this Epistle?

Rom 3: verses 10, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28

Rom 4: v. 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 22, 23, 24, 25

Rom 5: v. 1, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19

Practical application of Rom 3:30 and 4:3:

Interior prayer must be based on a personal relationship with God. On the awareness of my own guilt and of God’s love in Jesus Christ who paid for me by His death on the cross. Various pagan meditations and concentrations are systems that kill conscience, try to produce different feelings and false lights, and lead to perdition. A Christian can practise no syncretism with paganism (2 Cor 6:15).
