An appeal of the Bishops’ Synod

                             of the UOGCC to ex-Bishops in Slovakia

Dear ex-Bishops,

these days we have addressed an appeal to the Slovak nation to stop homodictatorship.

Homoideology is a destructive system that introduces injustice in society as a whole and privileges exclusively the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) caste. These “gay rights” are purposefully directed against divine and natural law. The homodictatorship deprives people of:

- freedom of religion,

- the right to adherence to natural moral principles and freedom of conscience,

- freedom of expression,

- the right to bring up their own children.

As shown in our attachment “Disastrous consequences of homoideology”, homoideology leads to total genocide of nations. In the countries of Western Europe manifest persecution of opponents of the homodictatorship has already begun. Today it is still possible to stop this dictatorship if a large part of society actively stands up against it. The Slovak nation has a responsibility before God to actively participate in stopping the all-European homodictatorship. However, the main responsibility these days for the Slovak nation lies with the Church hierarchy. The Church hierarchy represents God’s laws and has an obligation to bring the truth of God to the people, open their eyes and lead them to salvation, to both temporal and eternal happiness. The Church is to be the prophetic voice for the entire nation, otherwise the people perish. In this historic time, when the existence not only of Christianity but even of moral values on the European continent is at stake, to remain silent on destruction of God’s laws and introduction of antilaws is the greatest crime. Silence means, in essence, cooperation with this international crime and cooperation on eradication of Christianity in Europe. And this struggle is concentrated on the introduction of homosexuality into all spheres of social life. In May 2010, a small group of Christians protested against the criminal action Gay Pride which was intended to bring perverse thinking in legislation and whole society. It is shameful that the spokesman for the Bishops’ Conference condemned those who defended God’s laws. He thus made it publicly manifest that the present Catholic hierarchy supports the abominable sins of homosexuality. The spokesman used quotations from the Catholic Catechism as arguments. However, even 50 latest versions of the Catholic Catechism with 50 ecclesiastical approvals cannot change God’s Word on homosexuality given once and forever. For example, the fruit of the Dutch Catechism is apostasy and moral devastation (homosexuality, paedophilia, euthanasia).

God’s Word as well as the whole tradition of the apostles, church fathers and saints clearly call homosexuality a grave sin and an abomination. In the Old Testament this abomination was punished with death. Even secular law in the Middle Ages inflicted death penalty for this perversion. Pope St. Pius V (1566-1572) applied this secular law even to the clergy. If a bishop or monk was found guilty of homosexuality, he was degraded and transferred to temporal courts for a just trial and punishment.

Concerning liberal theologians and their appeals to a so-called new spirit in the Church, this spirit is the spirit of apostasy and the spirit of antichrist. It promotes new psychologies, sociologies and theologies, and denies the essence of the Gospel. It is not the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Christ, but the spirit of antichrist. The fact that the false prophets – heretical theologians and apostatical hierarchy – let it penetrate into the Church is a sign of the time of the Antichrist. The hierarchy has betrayed the essence of the Gospel, and therefore a curse comes upon the Church and the entire nations. This concerns homosexual and paedophile scandals among the Church hierarchs. A concrete manifestation of the curse in the former Christian world is legalization of homosexuality and euthanasia. This will soon be forced upon all nations, even Slovakia, as so-called UN conventions and international standards. This is the fruit of the curse for apostasy of the Catholic hierarchy.

We ask You, eighteen ex-Bishops:

1) repent for Your betrayal of Christ and Your unity with the contemporary heresies and with the spirit of apostasy;

2) start a fight against homodictatorship which leads to moral, spiritual and physical genocide of Slovakia.

Before Christmas 2009, three newly ordained priests appealed to You to confess the true Catholic faith and to break with the spirit of heresy. Your response was that You excommunicated them unlawfully and invalidly. However, the reality is that God’s excommunication did not fall on them but on You for a betrayal of faith and unity with heresies. Unless You repent, the curse which is on You will fall upon the entire nation. If you should die at this very moment and persist in obstinacy and heresies, You will be eternally condemned. Even Judas was an apostle, but he is in hell.

Therefore our Bishops’ Synod hereby urges You to write a pastoral letter as part of practical penance. In this pastoral letter You should clearly express the teaching of the Holy Scripture and Catholic tradition concerning homosexuality. In addition, call upon all Catholics to actively manifest their faith and attitude towards moral values in such way that they will regularly hold protest demonstrations this year. Encourage the faithful to attend these demonstrations in district and regional towns and to organize at least one all-Slovakian demonstration in Bratislava. Hundreds of thousands of people will participate in response to Your appeal. Use Your authority at last in defence of God’s and moral laws and for the salvation of the Slovak nation. Your formal and idle pastoral letters and religious activities keep Catholics in blindness and false peace.

If You fulfil neither of these conditions, we will be obliged to announce publicly that anathema which You incur since Christmas 2009 is valid and obliges in conscience not only You but also Your subordinates. If they continue to obey You, their salvation will be seriously endangered. Today, after causing a public outrage, You have a chance of public penance before the whole Slovak nation.

St. Basil said about apostate bishops: “We run away from the heretics as from godless people, inflicting an anathema upon them.” To obey traitors of Christ means to follow them to eternal perdition.

The Apostle Paul said: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed – anathema.” (Gal 1:8-9) This refers to every bishop, priest, religious and believer who preaches another gospel.
