A football icon

On 8th October 2009 an icon was consecrated in Kolomyia, “dedicated to Euro-2012”. Jesus is holding a soccerball and the Virgin Mary is pointing at a football stadium instead of pointing at Jesus as the only Way, the Truth and the Life. By all means this icon is a profanation of the Mother of God and of the Child Jesus in her arms.

A visitation of God

Heresies of ex-Card. L. Husar and apostasy of the Synod of the UGCC are no trifling matter, for eternal salvation of hundreds of thousands of souls is at stake and it concerns the whole territory of Ukraine.
In 2007 in Ozhidiv (Lvov region) a train carrying containers with yellow phosphorus ran off the rails, which resulted in a great disaster. In 2008 there were great floods in Western Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk, Kolomyia, Stryi…). In November 2009 a strange flu epidemic affected above all the Western Ukraine again.
God’s call to repentance is extremely topical even today. Will we stop for a while and ask ourselves: God, what do You want to say by it to the Church, nation and me?

Synod of the UOGCC

On 29th September 2009 a Synod of the bishops of the UOGCC took place in Lvov, presided over by Metropolitan Mikhailo Osidach. Several days before the Synod the Metropolitan had appointed – with the consent of members of the Synod – Bishop Teodoziy Ivashkiv OSBM an archbishop. Bishop Eliáš Dohnal OSBM through the laying on of the Metropolitan’s hands was appointed an archbishop too on 29th September 2009. The Synod approved this decision.

What spirit is behind the structures of the UGCC

On 5th-11th October 2009 a so-called Ecumenical Social Week took place in Lvov. The organizer was the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) and the so-called IXE (liberal, apostatized Christians of Europe sheltered by an apostatical priest T. Halík from the Czech Republic and by an apostate A. Arzhakovskyi, a Frenchman and Professor at UCU). The main topic was propagation of the European Union and the Lisbon Treaty (LT). There was not a single critical word said concerning the fact that the EU propagates homosexuality and totalitarianism.
The RISU web site presents the ideology of UCU’s false Christianity along with the propagation of homosexuality – see article: RISU and homosexuality (Letters from UA 14/09). Even a certain Orthodox Christian expressed himself concerning the UGCC clergy: “These are no longer Uniates but partakers of liberal sodomy.” This is a shock! However, it is a bitter fruit of the spirit of Husar’s apostasy and of his attitude toward homosexuality.

Expression of thanks

The more so in this situation the thanks are due to all orthodox Greek-Catholics who signed the petition for protection of family against moral devastation by means of propagation of homosexuality.
