On 4th May 2009 Fr. Basil Koubetch, Superior General OSBM, issued a so-called official announcement. He refers therein to the statement of the Apostolic Signatura: “The recourse was not admitted and the case too was not admitted for discernment in the presence of judges of this Supreme Tribunal, as it is manifest that they are both unfounded.” This confirms that the matter was an illegal dismissal from the Order.
