We include here a canon (can. 1436 §1) which fully applies to B. Koubetch. On the basis of the Code of Canons of Oriental Churches B. Koubetch is to be punished with a major excommunication, or exclusion from the Catholic Church, and thereby deprived of the office of General Superior of the OSBM.
The reason: The OSBM journal “The Missionary” publishes heretical articles denying the fundamental truths of the Catholic faith and systematically propagates the heretical teaching of the HCT which in its essence denies the Divinity of Jesus Christ as well as the inspiration of the whole Scripture.
