Touch Jesus in Holy Communion (+german version)
Post date: 2026-06-14Autor: BCP
The Lord Jesus is really present in the Divine Liturgy. When we receive His Body and Blood in Holy Communion, we need to realize: “Jesus, You are in me now.” Jesus asks every one of us: “What do you want Me to do for you?” If you have a concrete problem, tell Him: “Lord, this is my problem – I am ill. You are my Physician, You are almighty!” And Jesus says to you the same as He said to the women in the Gospel who came to Him with a fervent plea or to the parents who asked Him to heal their child: “Let it be done for you as you have believed!” Or He says to you as He said to the leper: “I am willing; be cleansed!” Jesus is the same, and He is present in the Eucharist. He comes in a special way. When you receive His Body and Blood, He comes to you and becomes your guest.
Reflection on Rom 8:12-13
Post date: 2026-06-07Autor: BCP
When you recite Rom 8:12-13 daily for two weeks during the seven prayer stops, renew time and again your resolution to fight against the deeds of the body. Every day you write one page in the book of your life and this book will be opened in the hour of death before the judgment seat of God. Your fight has an impact on others too. You obtain for them the light and strength to turn from the broad way which leads to damnation. Whenever we fall, we must repent immediately, break with evil and take again the safe way of following Jesus to eternal life.

Reflection by Patriarch Elijah: Give thanks to God for everything – even for the blows that give shape

Michelangelo was about to make a sculpture of Moses. One day a large stone or rather a huge boulder was brought to him. He and his apprentice went to see it. They walked around it with delight. Michelangelo thought for a while, looking at the stone, and then said: “I see Moses in there.” The apprentice wondered, saying: “Moses? It’s no Moses; it’s just a stone.” Michelangelo replied: “But I see him there.” “What needs to be done to really have him in there?” Michelangelo said: “All that is not Moses must be removed.” “And how will it happen?” “Chisel, hammer, and blows. It is blows that give shape.” It is the same with us. All that is not Jesus in us must be removed. And how will it happen? It is blows that give shape. God often has to visit trials or suffering on us, sometimes even through other people who scold us or do us a wrong, or through a loss or the death of our dear ones… It is the blows that give shape.

“I am telling you these things,” Jesus says to the apostles the evening before His death, “now while I am still with you.” He won’t be with the apostles for much longer. These are the final moments before His departure. Imagine a father saying goodbye to his children, knowing that he will be executed the next day. He is innocent, but he will still be executed. He’ll give his beloved children his heart on a plate. He’ll give them everything he has. And Jesus, with far greater love, imparts the depths of truth to the apostles as far as He knows they are able to bear and receive. He knew that they were still unable to accept many things, but He pointed to the hope that is the Holy Spirit. And here’s what He says: “… while I am still with you. … But the Comforter (Advocate), whom the Father will send in My name…” When someone comforts someone who is depressed, a word can save a life. “Comforter” – He comforts. “Comforter” or “Advocate”. You actually enjoy patronage at the highest levels. Imagine that you cannot get to the truth or achieve justice – it’s just not possible. Then someone says to you: “Look, there’s a man whose patronage will help you. He defends the truth. He’ll speak up for you…” The Holy Spirit is our patron! He is our Comforter, or Advocate.
Reflection on Jn 16:13

The Spirit of God brings light. This enables you to realize a truth that you previously did not see at all, or saw only in a distorted way. For example, He reveals that what seemed like a coincidence in your life was not a coincidence at all; now, after several years, you recognize this. What you saw as a loss was actually a gain. The harm that troubled you turned out to be ultimately beneficial. What you saw as misfortune was merely a barrier that prevented an even greater misfortune. At the time, you couldn’t understand this.
Brief reflection on the Descent of the Holy Spirit

May the Holy Spirit fill you again and endow you with the true divine joy and His gifts. It is not enough to receive gifts; we need to receive the Giver! Let us do our best to live in the presence of God, seeking His will, so that our decisions, words and acts would not be our own but of God. To abide in and walk with God, we need practical faith. Indeed, we need to walk by faith like Abraham. And we need to revive our faith ever anew in all trials. No manifestation of a living faith is in vain or without response!

The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you.” (Jn 14:15-17)

The meaning of life
Post date: 2026-05-16Autor: BCP
The Scripture says: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You gave me a body.” We can see what human body is – there are various diseases, people have their legs amputated, are confined to a wheelchair, or suffer from one illness after another. Body is just a bearer of suffering. How many people suffer in hospitals but so often fruitlessly because there is no one to tell them about the meaning of suffering, that they can be an atoning sacrifice for the salvation of the nation, for the salvation of souls. There is no one to preach to them.Start from yourself and make a firm decision anew: Jesus, I want to live for You, I want to serve You in this short period of my earthly life!
Reflection on Rom 6:4
Post date: 2026-05-09Autor: BCP
To walk in newness of life means to live by faith which unites us to Christ. This is, in other words, the obedience of faith, which is mentioned e.g. in verse 16. The obedience of faith means the putting of God’s word into practice. This is what Jesus was speaking about when He encouraged the people to do God’s word, to embody it. Those who do so are wise. They do not build their life on the sand but on the rock (Mt 7:24).
Humility
Post date: 2026-05-07Autor: BCP
Of all people, the Virgin Mary is the supreme model of humility. The Lord Jesus, God and Man, said: “Learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart.” He said clearly that this is what we should learn from Him. He clearly demands it from us. We should practically deny ourselves, accept our cross and follow Him humiliated, abandoned and crucified. Humility is the basis of all virtues. The opposite of humility is pride which leads to eternal death, while humility is the key to heaven. Humility overcomes the devil and the old self in us.
BCP: The solution to save Africa: Patriarchate /Celebration of the seventh day - Part 12/ (video)

The seventh day belongs to God, to the care of one’s soul and to the spiritual good of the family. If the seventh day, the Lord’s Day, is not kept in the right way, our living relationship with God begins to fade. That is why it is essential to set aside time each week, on the Lord’s Day, for prayer. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, set us free on the cross at Calvary, and our salvation was completed through His glorious resurrection. The first Christians celebrated the liturgy during the night from Saturday to Sunday (Acts 20:7). The governor of Bithynia mentions in a letter to Emperor Trajan (98-117 AD) that Christians gathered on Sundays early in the morning, before sunrise – in the very night when Christ rose from the dead.

Through the doctrinal declaration Fiducia supplicans, pseudo Pope Francis Bergoglio introduced a sodomite antigospel, which, according to Galatians 1:8-9, carries the punishment of God’s anathema – excommunication from the Church. If any bishop or priest is in unity with the pseudo Popes Bergoglio and now Prevost, his consecration is invalid and ineffective, and he deceives the faithful. Therefore, every bishop and priest must publicly renounce the sodomite antigospel and unity with the invalid Pope. These grave facts determine the validity of the consecration. They arise from the very essence and Spirit of Christ’s Gospel. They bind Catholics in conscience.

An example is Abraham’s faith. He believed that God is almighty. When you pray, become aware for at least one minute of God’s presence – that God sees you. Give Him your sins. Realize that He created the entire universe and this earth, and confess that Jesus died also for your sins and that He now justifies you. Confess your faith that Jesus truly rose from the dead, for He is God.
Jesus appears to Peter by the Lake of Gennesaret
Post date: 2026-04-20Autor: BCP
When the Scripture speaks about Peter’s first encounter with the Risen Lord by the tomb, it makes no mention of a dialogue. It was a mere glance... But now Jesus asks Peter: “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” My prayer should not be just a reflection on Peter’s encounter with Jesus. During prayer, I should realize the presence of Jesus – Jesus is here now; He sees me and knows me. Jesus is here, the same Jesus as by the Lake of Gennesaret. With an aching heart, I confess together with Peter: “I betrayed You, I denied You.” Looking back on my life from early childhood, how many times I have denied Jesus!
The encounter between the Risen Jesus and His Mother /Motivation for prayer at the Easter season/

Mary is looking at her glorified Son. Her heart magnifies the Lord and her spirit rejoices in God her Saviour. “My soul magnifies the Lord!” You can repeat these words of hers in your heart in prayer and imagine that you are now in Jerusalem and see Jesus appearing to His Mother. Look at the Risen Jesus by faith just like the Virgin Mary. Experience the moment of looking into His face. He is present here. Experience this encounter together with the Blessed Virgin and rejoice with her. She is your Mother.
Reflection on Lk 24:39

Jesus spoke these words when He appeared to the apostles on Sunday evening. They were shocked by the Saviour’s appearance and thought they were seeing a spirit, rather than the real Christ with His glorified body. Jesus urged them to look closely at His hands and feet and to touch Him to convince themselves that it was truly Him. He even asked them to give Him something to eat as further proof that He was in His resurrected body. They gave Him a piece of broiled fish and a honeycomb, which He ate in front of them. The bones of the fish remained as a testament to His real presence.
Open yourself by faith to the reality of Christ’s death and resurrection
Post date: 2026-04-11Autor: BCP
The Word of God says that we were immersed through baptism into Christ’s death. Through faith we should open ourselves to the reality of Christ’s death, which overcomes sin and the devil. At the moment of His death, Jesus commits His spirit into the Father’s hands. In Christ’s death there is a great power that overcomes. Then comes the resurrection, the new life. We are to enter into Christ’s death in various life situations. It means seriously seeking God’s will and putting God first in a particular situation. In other words, renouncing our own interest, our own truth, our own experience at the present moment and sincerely accept God’s will, God’s truth. This requires self-denial. And then, by His almighty power, God can perform anew the miracle of resurrection in that situation.
