We prevail with Christ alone
Post date: 2015-02-09Autor: BCP
Sin is rebellion against God. Through sin man loses eternal life. However, Jesus paid for us, for all our sins. If we turn to Jesus with faith, we receive the forgiveness of sins. The biggest problem is that we do not want to admit our sin. And so we walk in darkness. If we are not self-critical, we are unable to perceive the truth around us. Unless you are rooted in the truth, in the time of spiritual battle the devil will pull your leg and defeat you. But if you are rooted in the truth and in Christ, if you know that you must not let yourself be caught in a trap and if you cling to Christ, you will conquer the whole hell.

The fight for souls!
Post date: 2015-02-05Autor: BCP
If you want to convert others to the faith, you must pray and bear witness. If you discuss with them, the demon that enslaves them will defeat you. In this fight for the salvation of souls we must learn to wear the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth and the sword of the Spirit!

Reflection on Jn 15:16
Post date: 2015-01-31Autor: BCP
Think to yourself for a moment that God chose you: “I did not choose You, my God and Saviour, but You chose me before the foundation of the world...” (cf. Eph 1:4) Jesus wants me to bear fruit – the fruit of works done according to the will of God and in faith. This fruit should remain forever! Jesus assures us again that the Father will give us whatever we ask in His name. This holy name of God is “Yehoshua” (Lord is my salvation).

Prayer of unity and power /modified version/
Post date: 2015-01-31Autor: BCP
The name of Jesus comes from the Hebrew name Yehoshua*, which means: The Lord is salvation. This is the name of God, a holy name, and the Word of God says that “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom 10:13). In this name the sick were healed and demons cast out (Mk 16:17; Acts 3:16; Acts 4:10). In this prayer of “unity and power”, pronounce slowly and quietly “Ye-ho-shu-” and then breathe out the lengthened vowel “aaa” three times. This helps to abide in God and His Word at the present moment (cf. Jn 15:7).

Reflection on Jn 15:12-13
Post date: 2015-01-17Autor: BCP
Jesus emphasizes this commandment twice on the evening before His death. He says: “A new commandment I give to you”, and He adds: “By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love one to another.” The Greek original of the Gospel uses the term “agape” for “love”. This is the love by which Jesus has loved us. How has Jesus loved us? Being God, He became man; He humbled Himself, assumed human weakness, yet without sin. He was innocent and yet sentenced to death, even death on a cross. He suffered the pains of scourging, crowning with thorns, the way of the cross; He suffered dying amid mockery and in abandonment, and finally painful death. He paid the price for your sin.
Prophetic prayer for the resurrection of Russia and Ukraine
Post date: 2015-01-13Autor: BCP
Before beginning this prayer, admit your sins before God and before yourself: I am an egoist. When someone admonishes me for whatever error, I take offence. I criticize and condemn others; however, what I condemn I do myself. I see the speck in my neighbour’s eye, but I cannot see the log in my own eye. I am lazy to seek the truth and to endure suffering for its sake. I do not read the Bible and the lives of saints, and I am not familiar with them. I do not bear in mind the ultimate reality, which is death, God’s judgment and eternity! I am interested in all kinds of philosophies or psychologies, but I do not seek the true psychology and philosophy of the Gospel which is vital in life.“The wages of sin is death.” Jesus died for you and for your sins. The name “Jesus” is a Graecised form of the Hebrew name “Yehoshua”. It is the holy name of God and the Word of God says about it: “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom 10:13)
Reflection on Jn 15:5; 15:7
Post date: 2014-12-20Autor: BCP
In Jn 15:5, Jesus speaks about the condition and about the fruit, which is unity with Him. In verse 5, He says that He is the vine. “I am the vine.” The Greek original reads: “ego eimi” (I am). These words express the divine nature. Jesus uses the same expression when speaking about the Eucharist: “I am (ego eimi) the bread of life.” (Jn 6:48-51) “You will know that I am (ego eimi) in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.” (Jn 14:20) In our prayer stops throughout this month we shall repeat the Word of God and realize the deep mystery of “Jesus being in me and I in Him”. Let us realize it by faith at least for one minute during the day.

Mission of prayer
Post date: 2014-12-10Autor: BCP
“I was in prison and you came to Me. I was sick and you visited Me.” Christ is in us like in prison. Who keeps Him in prison? It is the system of our old self, sin in our soul. Jesus is imprisoned in me. “Lord, I want to know who is the prison guard in me, who keeps You in prison, who has charge of the keys of the prison?! Is it spiritual bondage, addictions, blindness, laziness or self-will?” We do not even visit Jesus in this prison. That is why we need to launch out into the deep and meet Jesus there.
