STOP 7 times
Post date: 2010-10-27Autor: Synod UO GCC
Your Holiness, we hereby present both to You and to the Church a prayer of contrition, love for God and embodiment of God’s Word. Try it Yourself and judge its fruit. God’s Word says: “Seven times a day...” (Psa 119:164). Both the Old- and the New-Testament Tradition present a daily prayer rhythm. This rhythm was kept by St. Paul and the Apostles. Similarly, St. Basil emphasized the need for prayer stops during the day in the life of every Christian.

A biblical lesson - Virgin Mary – the Mother of God
Post date: 2009-01-15Autor:
Card. L. Husar, at variance with the Holy Scripture and Tradition, one-sidedly and purposefully emphasizes a purely natural aspect, saying: “Mary washed the clothes, swept the yard, washed the dishes...” and he falsely makes us believe that we cannot imagine her like that. He does not say that the substance is not in this activity, which is done by every woman, but that the substance of perfection and holiness is in the harmony of the soul with God.
A biblical lesson - Jesus is true God
Post date: 2009-01-12Autor:
The very basic good news of the Gospel is that God loves me, that He gave for me His only Son who – out of the same love – died for me so that I should not perish but have eternal life (cf. Jn 3:16). The way I am to be converted is that I give Jesus the first place in my life, and only then all the rest can follow! The Church teaches: “CHRIST IS TRUE GOD AND TRUE MAN, THE ONLY SAVIOUR.” “There is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12). The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ, the source of the revealed Truth given for salvation. However, if nowadays some bishops defend heresies, they have thus excluded themselves from the Church and the believers must not obey them; otherwise they will go to eternal perdition along with them.

Spiritual battle (The truths of the faith)
Post date: 2008-12-07Autor:
God seeks people who are willing to fight. Who goes to the war has to be prepared for death, and that seriously. If we want to fight for Christ we have to take into account that our old self – the traitor in us – must die. We cannot fight for Christ with our own strength because of this very fact that within us is the infection of the poison of original sin. However, we have to be aware that Christ is in us too and that He who is in us is stronger than he who is in the world.
The celebration of 7th day for priests
Post date: 2007-02-27Autor: community
In the present extremely heavy crisis and mass apostasy from Christ and from the Church it is essential for us priests to accept biblical parameters for both our own and the Church’s renewal! Let us found the celebration of the seventh day upon four biblical pillars (cf. Acts 2:42). You, dear fathers, bishops and priests, propagate and actualize this firm foundation – the celebration of the seventh day – of a true internal reform of the clergy that will bring as a fruit the renewal of families, parishes, dioceses and of the Church.
