On the second Lent Sunday, 4th March 2007, even in Ukraine a news was heard about another so-called “bomb”,
a lie, which is the film: “The Lost Tomb of Jesus”.
What should be the reaction of us Christians when the foundations of our faith and our life are being undermined?
What would be the reaction of Moslems in a similar situation? Their reaction would be concentrated in a single word:
DEATH, namely to those who are the initiators as well as those who are propagators (see Satanic Verses).
We cannot act in such manner. Our example is the loving Jesus. Surely, in an encounter with the spirit (demon)
of lie and death He also responded by the word ‘death’; however, He took this death on Himself.
Death was not His only and last word (solution to the problem), the second word was RESURRECTION – LIFE!
