Already by its very name and by its enumeration of religions on its web site the Religious Information Service of Ukraine reveals that it ignores the substance of Christianity by ranking it among pagan religions. By assuming this position the RISU editors condemned themselves and revealed themselves as apostates and traitors of Christ and His teaching.
The Church canon 1436 CCEO is laid down against those who distort the fundamental truths of the Christian faith. The punishment of a major excommunication, i.e. exclusion from the Catholic Church, is imposed on those who fully opened themselves to this spirit of apostasy. The punishment applies to the representatives of UCU and RISU as well as to Card. L. Husar by whom both these anti-Christian structures in Ukraine are shielded.
