Your Excellency, we sincerely turned to You because we supposed that what both we and You have at heart is Christ and the spiritual renewal of Ukraine, and that was also the reason for our request for a meeting with Cardinal Bertone. Instead of mediating this meeting You sent secret police. Your act is similar to Herod joining Pilate. Why did You not simply tell us: “Cardinal Husar and his people, who defend the Cardinal’s heresies, bring great pressure to bear against you so as to prevent Your meeting with Cardinal Bertone. I do not have the courage to uphold you against this pressure.”
