The official website of the Belarusian Catholic Church has posted a defamatory article about the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP). It is a response to the BCP’s articles and videos which rightly convict Archbp Kondrusiewicz of organizing a coup d’etat. The archbishopric uses a method of totalitarian systems which fight against the truth by wickedly defaming its preachers. The leadership of the Catholic Church does not respond at all to the weighty arguments that convict Archbp Kondrusiewicz of initiating the Maidan, although his name was included on a list of subversive agents, for which reason he was not allowed into Belarus.

The greatest provocation throughout history in relation to God, causing damage to the Catholic Church as a whole, has been the beatification of an apostate and thus also of the spirit of Assisi – the spirit of antichrist. On 1 May 2011, the Pope brought an anathema – God’s curse – both upon himself and upon the Catholic Church. On that very day, the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate separated from the Vatican betrayal in order to maintain continuity with the two-thousand-year tradition of the orthodox Catholic Church. This continuity was disrupted by Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Their new teaching with the spirit of the New Age has nothing to do with the Gospel, the apostolic teachings or the tradition of saints and martyrs.

We would like to sober You down from Your fallacious views of Christ’s Church and from Your statements concerning us, the orthodox bishops of the UOGCC.The Catholic Church was established neither by You nor by any other people. It was established by the God-Man Jesus Christ. So the Church is no politico-economic institution to make a profit on but it is the Body of Christ. Therefore belonging to the Church – the Body of Christ – does not lie in a formal membership in the external structure of Your apostatical organization which You unjustly call “Catholic Church”. He is a Catholic and he belongs to the Catholic Church – the Mystical Body of Christ – who distances himself from heresies that deny the essence of the Catholic Church, including Husar’s heresies.

On Tuesday 19 July 2011, the UOGCC faithful attached a cross to the gable roof of their chapel. It provoked an immediate response of the aggressive supporters of the Redemptorists. They took our ladder, climbed to the roof of private property – the chapel, which is against the law, and threw the cross down to the ground.A clear proof that the whole event had a predetermined aim was that the police took up none of the attackers but the Bishop who defended himself against the furious mob. The police detained him from 24:00 to 14:30. They did not allow forensic medical examination which he had asked for. Readiness of the police was only too astonishing: the Patriarch arrested in the middle of the night and put on trial early in the morning, no evidence provided by the sisters, no forensic medical examination allowed. The frame-up trial was to be held at 9 o’clock in the morning. The police provided Shevchenko District Court merely with one-sided evidence material supplied by the attackers.

Reverend Father, on behalf of Christ we beseech You to renounce the heresies of L. Huzar as well as the antichristian spirit of Assisi and not to attend beatification of an apostate. If You do attend this event, You will bring God’s anathema upon Yourself. This is not a threat but a salvific warning.

The pastoral letter of L. Husar is a real shock. He publicly calls our Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC) a sect. The term sect produces in every man a feeling of aversion and horror. Sects are occult religious organizations that smuggle drugs or weapons, liquidate their members and organize mass suicides. Husar commits malicious denigration and foments religious hatred in relation to us. In conformity with the criminal code of Ukraine, these crimes carry a penalty of 2-5 years’ imprisonment. According to the law of God, his pastoral letter is a sin against the Holy Spirit because it deliberately perverts the essence of the truth with the intention to destroy God’s work.

One who is in conscious unity with Husar’s apostatical UGCC leadership does not expose himself to danger any more but is directly beyond the bounds of the Church of Christ. The question arises who will be saved and in what Church – in the orthodox or heretical one? There are many Catholics in parish registers who in the hour of their death will be condemned to eternal damnation because they are not living members of the Mystical Body of Christ and do not have the Spirit of Christ. They are just formal members of an outward institution of the Church.

By way of introduction it must be said to the team of authors as well as to those who engaged them that they take credit to a certain extent for the revival of the Church and of the spiritual life. How? Because on a dark background which they created the divine truth may be even more visible and the heresy may be revealed. We just have to state that we have nothing in common with these heretics, and therefore even the citations of St. Cyprian and St. Augustine do not apply to us but to the apostatical and heretical hierarchy of the UGCC. It is admirable how excellent psychological and theological acrobatics the authors of the pamphlet perform in order to shift the explicit Husar’s heresies into the category of virtues and true faith. That’s really an achievement.

The authors of the lampoon purposefully conceal or distort the elementary fact that ex-Card. Husar, along with the bishops of the UGCC who are in unity with him, has been excluded from the Church owing to his public proclamation of heresies. Their official statements are invalid before God as well as before Christ’s Church! Because we defend Christ’s Mystical Body – the Church – against heresies, the heretics sit in judgement over us. Their judgements are, of course, lawless and invalid.

Defamation, liquidation of the truth and of the true way to salvation. What means are used there? Suggestive lies, half-truths, manipulation.

If we were to express the mean and insidious activity of the apostate Vilchynskyi and of the apostatical structure which he serves, we would not manage to do it so aptly as he did it himself. For it is not in us but in him and in the apostatical structure that the spirit of Antichrist and Jezebel works. The spirit of Jezebel liquidates true prophets and does not permit the way of conversion of the nation to God.

Dear Orest, after having read Your letter we were shocked – how could You sink to such depths? You acted like Judas, the traitor of Jesus Christ. We are afraid lest You should end up the same as he did. As for Your “expert theology”, it testifies to the fact that instead of love for the truth You have opened up to demagogical manipulation and to the deepest form of lie. Realize whom You serve: God or the devil – the spirit of lie? The fruit of Your activity is the answer.The devil is a liar and a murderer (cf. Jn 8:44) and You and the whole heretical system serve him. You are killing innocent and defenceless souls.How would You stand in this moment before the judgement seat of God?

You write: “The Age of Pisces is drawing to an end”, whereby You actually deny what You stated so eagerly about the Catholic and even about the Orthodox Church. You say that the time of Aquarius has come. Aquarius is a symbol of the New Age. This movement is antichristian and its aim is to replace Christianity with a so-called new global religion but without God, without Jesus Christ. This so-called “Living God” of the Age of Aquarius is not the God of Christians, but the devil himself. Professing the faith in the so-called “Living God” Aquarius leads to and ends in the place which is called hell!

Dear Mr Bendyk, as for Your theological criticism one can see that You have learnt to juggle with terms very well and You know how to sidestep direct questions very adroitly and how to avoid the essence of the problem. Here we would like to point out just a few things. First, divination by pendulum is a sin indeed, and the pendulum is not swung by some radio waves but by demons. Similarly, Your defence of Husar’s heresies concerning the primacy and infallibility of the Pope is unconvincing. Concerning L. Husar and his attitude towards homosexuality, we think that it is not necessary to comment on it again. Apart from that, there are still some witnesses of what took place in USA where L. Husar was a priest.

The religious journal Nova Zorya published a libellous article (21st August 2009) directed against registration of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church (UOGCC). The whole article is an exemplary model of manipulation; it is full of defamation, abusive language and lies. It has fully revealed Church pharisaism and hypocrisy. Its authors and the apostatical hierarchy standing behind them have the spirit of the wicked vinedressers from the Gospel, who killed God’s servants, prophets and in the end even the Son of God Himself. In the present time they kill the bleeding Body of Christ – the Church – and to them refers Jesus’ word: “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” (Mt 21:42) “The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.” (v. 44) “Therefore I tell you (current pharisees and high priests): the kingdom of God will be taken away from you.” (v. 43)

We are no sect, but bishops and members of the Catholic Church. We have never committed any offence against the law of whatever state. We overtly fight against hypnosis and point out its negative spiritual consequences. The members of the orthodox Catholic Bishops’ Synod of the UGCC who are foreign citizens reside in Ukraine legally. Miracles of healing and conversions in Pidhirtsi are worked by the Lord Jesus in witness of the true preaching of His Gospel.
What does the spirit of lie pursue

Right Reverend father, You have provided a piece of defamatory and mendacious information against us for the secular newspaper Gazeta po ukrajinsky. You have written similar lies to the chairwoman of the Pidhirtsi village. We are not a sect, but those who publicly preach heresies destroying the foundation of Christ’s salvific teaching. We defend this true teaching and suffer persecution therefor by the real sectarians. Reverend father, what spirit is behind Your lie and what is its aim? It is not the Spirit of truth but the spirit of lie which deceives the faithful so as to prevent them from conversion and repentance, to keep them in darkness and to bring on them a curse instead of a blessing.
